Friends - November 2006

my best friend is a girl i've known for twelve years (since we were four in summer camp). we can talk about anything and i even set her up with her boyfriend and theyve been going out for about three years. life has been great until this year (junior year in high school) when guys made fun of us when she was driving me to football practice....they think its weird to have a girl as a best friend.

its not like i go to sleep overs and hang out with her girl friends and shop and stuff. we both do things we like to do: paint ball, see movies, go to broadway shows...and be in broadway shows since we're theatre kids.

everyone yells out things now like "he's so gay" and crud. wtf??!!! im not gay (even though i dont see anything wrong with that...im not against it) but now i feel like me and friend, Dani just cant hang out anymore.


HELP??!!! wat should i do?! shes the only one that knows me better than i do and i know her. but we cant hang out anymore...my whole team laughs. HELP?!!

A bit sad, but true. I have a few individual friends and there all part of this huge group. The only problem is, as my friends are making new friends, i'm not. I'm shy, but only because i dont know what to say. Even when i'm talking to my friends, i'm looking for a great way to start a conversation, one of those really long ones that everyone seems to join in. I know that will help me strenthen my friendship with the few friends that i do have, and help me to make more. I don't want to say anything weird or just plain awkwerd though. How do people do it, how do you hold and start a long conversation that everyone just has to join in?

So i split. now i cant find anyone to hang out with. im losing my mind trying to go to school and work but i dont feel like myself. Is this becuase im not being myself and just chillin and hanging out. well I want to be friends with some new people about 50 to be exact but especially one guy and one girl that I want to know better I'm shy and this seems so difficult to me I hate even asking stuff to my own family so how could I possibly get talking to these kids and get to meet them ?? my best friend happens to be a girl. everyone keeps bugging me about it and says that we are going out when we really arent. so my friend tell me that she would be acting like she is mad at me for a couple of days so everyone would get off our case. My best friend and I just had a huge argument.She was teasing her cousin.We were in a Yahoo!Messenger Conference talking.We decided to play a game.After we decided we didn't play the game anymore,my best friend started reading.She told her cousin to read.But her cousin told her where she was the only books she had was the dictionary.I got upset at my friend,and we started arguing.Her teasing her cousin cused me to remeber horrible memories about what horrible teasing I went through in kindergarden.We kept on fighting until finally I couldn't take her teasing her cousin anymore.She teases her cousin on a constant basis.I decided I didn't want to be friends with her anymore,and told her she had nobody but herself to blame.Am I right or wrong about this?

I was talking to my cousin and my best friend on the internet. I asked if my cousin had any good books. she said all she had was a dictionary. then i said "so read the dictionary!" I was totally kidding of course. my friend goes all out defensive and tells me i shouldn't make fun of my cousin because it reminds her of when she was teased in kindergarden. At lunch it was cold. My jacket was at home, and my friend Kristy had her jacket. Kristy said it was cold, and to give back her jacket, I was like okay...our friend Jake said here Ali use my jacket, Kristy was like oh let me wear it he said no, here ali, I said he likes me better! i have a friend and well we new each other for 4 years well in high school and he has liked me since lat year when we were seniors. he told me he like me when he wrote me a note saying it would be good if we went together and he asked me to go ice skating with him and he would flirt with me and touch my hair. the things is he has strong deep feelings for me and he wishes to be with me and finds me attractive and he has sexual feelings towards me too. but see his ex girlfriend keeps teeling him she loves him and he does'nt resond back. he talks to her but maybe like a friend though. and next month he's going to visit her and well she lives in oregon and he lives in houston plus he works at walmart and he;s going to see me again at this renuion were going to have after thangsgiving.

My friend is sick. I want to go over to her house with flowers and ask her how she is feeling. Since I haven't met her parents or gone over to her house, would it be weird if they didn't know I was coming? I have known this girl for quite a while...we began to become better friends this school year. But then something happened...i really do not know what though. She went from laughing and talking to me....to completely ignoring me. I have not spoken to her in a REAL conversation since thursday, when we typically talk all of the time between classes ,in classes,at lockers....ect.
It's like she decided to hate me over night!!!!!!
what is her problem?????????????? IT IS DRIVING ME INSANE.
and if i did anything to make her mad...i would know if i did!!!

I have a best male friend who is a lot younger than me. We care a lot for each other but I also feel attached to him and would be devastated if our friendship ended He says we will be friends for ever but I always feel that he wouldnt be as upset as I am if the friendship ended. We hug a lot when we meet We argue at times but we always try to sort it out even if it takes a lot of discussion. I am scared that if he starts to date I will hardly ever see him I also dont know how we could have these arguments and sort them out as I feel sure a gf wouldnt like us having such a close friendship Would u mind ur bf having a close older female friend? ok, so i'm in 8th grade, and i just moved to a new middle school (well, two months ago, but still).
the first friends i made seemed really nice, and they were really helpful..... but well, they dont talk about anything except homework and grades... and honestly, it's a bit boring hanging with them.
and so then i started being friends with the fun people, the people i could talk about crushes and guys with, and when my other friends see me talking to them, they start whispering and pointing and glaring at me.
and then, when i go back to hanging out with those friends, the others get mad. so now i'm caught between two groups.
honestly, i would love to be friends with the "fun" ones and not the boring ones, but apparantly, according to my other friends, they are rumor-spreaders...... so im a bit scared, to be honest.
what to do?

my best friend since i have known since i was 5 years old has been copying me. i know it may sound immature of me to complain about this but, it's really getting on my nerves! she copies "my words" example:coolio
and she copies everything i do ,its like shes trying to be me! i cant take it anymore! she has commented that she thinks im beautiful and perfect...when i confront her about the copying she just denys it. what do i do??!
