Friends - November 2006

One of my single guy friends recently said he wanted me to have his kids (in an email). Yikes. I am happily married, and he knows this, so I was really hoping it was some sort of odd joke. I continued reading, and right below that he did indeed say something to the effect of, "I'm just kidding. I thought that might get a rise out of you!" My question is, why on earth would anyone joke about something like that? Is he just being silly or is there a tiny grain of truth in it?

My chilldren call what their dad is doing just friendship. I believe it is an affair. He is having lunch every day with this woman. I found them parked behind the local grocery store after he said he was going to the dump to take out the trash. She comes over to our swimming pool when I am not home. Never stays till I get home. He does more work around her house than my own. He called her from Florida when he was on vacation and talked to her 1 hour and yet only spoke to the children for 5 minutes each night he was gone. What do you think.

Ok... My parents want me to move away with them but I dont want to, I have moved so many times before and its hard fitting in. I kinda fit in here and if I stay I will be living with my older brother. I have a few friends here but we only meet up at parties. In my old town I could go to my friends houses whenever I wanted unannouced. But here you have to get an invitation. I have lived here a year and nobody has ever came over. One of my friends said he would come over if my parents were not there.

There is this gul whom I met 9 months ago .she already have a boyfriend .we became friends.with the passage of time we came so close dat we started having sex.at some point of time I felt dat she is in love with me but we never spoke about it.now I am in love with this gul I really like her n I told her about my feelings.but my approach was casual .she used to talk about her boyfriend also.but then her behavior started changing n one day I spoke to her about the relation but she never answered. Finally I asked her I don’t want to drag this relation this way.if u have some feelings for me u sud tell me .then she said she is confused .and now she is staying with her boyfriend but we r still in touch.can somebody tell me wat should I do? for some reason every boy i like i can never be with, and sometimes if i find out a boy has a girlfriend i like him more, and just recently i started liking a boy and i thought i could actually be with him, but it turns out he has a girlfriend, so did i like subconsciously know that he had a girlfriend? and why do i always wanna be with boys that i cant be with????

OK so here is the deal I have this friend and weve been friends since we were shorter than a chair, a few years ago I slept with him and now a few years later he wanted to know if i was just in it for a fling (I was curious -bad-bad-me) turns out that he actually was in love. And he brought it up I wish I had known or I wouldn't have done it but now it's done and I feel terrible any suggestions on what i should say or do to make it any better? He's a great guy

My best friend does not get on with her Mother in law at all and never has.

The Mother in law in question has never sent my Friend a Birthday card and does not even talk to her.

My Friend daughter talks to her Nan, and her Nan asked Her Grandaughter (My Friends Daughter) to post a Birthday card for her. So she took the card ready to post.
But she gave it to her Mother to post ( my friend) and she has just rang me and asked my advice. She has opened the card it had £10 in it. This card was to her Ex Daughter in law, She told me she opened and now my mate is stuck what to do as the envelope is all ripped and she can't read the address as its in messy writting.
I have told her to make up a story like she dropped it, and envelope got wet, and ask her Mother in law to write another, and take the card and money down to her.

She is not so sure.
So we decided to ask you all?

She said keep money and say nothing (im not so sure as i would worry and for £10 its not worth it

i REALLY like this guy that I am talking about (see my previous questions) but my 'friend' just told me that he held hands with her on the way back and that she might try to get him! i don't know if i believe her about the hand holding thing but what should I do? this is so unfair...she is SO pretty and skinny she could have her pick of any guy she wanted and she has to chose the ONE that might like me. how do i find out if he likes her wi/ out directly asking? help please!!!

I recently met up with a friend who has just started at uni and we had a great day together until she took me back to the halls where she is staying. I confess I felt jealous of her new life and jealous of all those people who get to see her everyday as she is probably one of the most wonderful people I have ever known. I inwardly became more bitter and when she was walking me back to the station I made a comment, nothing too hurtful but it would probably have made her aware of my feelings. We havn't spoken of this though. I know that I shouldn't have behaved in this way and I do feel ashamed. Does this make me a bad friend?

i hav a classm8 hu tried to court me a few mos. ago but i refused although i also hav a crush on him coz i'm not yet ready to enter a relationship & i've nvr been in a relationship b4... then, now, this guy is like trying to avoid me, and he's flirting with sum other gurlz..
in our clasrum, we're only 9 girls, & in that 9 girls, it's like that i'm the only one whom he doesn't want to be friends with,.. he's talking with me sumtimes, but only when he needed sumthing to ask

I had a friend that turned on me because of who I choose to be. this friend now claims to be a "God Fearing Woman" but yet she is being judgemental about my family and the things in the past.
