OK so here is the deal I have this friend and weve been friends since we were shorter than a chair, a few years ago I slept with him and now a few years later he wanted to know if i was just in it for a fling (I was curious -bad-bad-me) turns out that he actually was in love. And he brought it up I wish I had known or I wouldn't have done it but now it's done and I feel terrible any suggestions on what i should say or do to make it any better? He's a great guy

Sounds familiar....

Tell him him the truth. He's a great guy and a great friend and you would never want to lose that by lying to him. That you're sleeping together was just that, a fling. And that for you, it's just not the right time.

Who knows what the future will bring? Far future.....

Well, do you want to be with him or not? Thats going to be the deciding factor on what to say. If you feel the same about him then tell him. If you dont have feelings for him like that then you need to be honest with him. It's not going to be easy to do but if he is truly your friend he will understand. You dont want to lose a friend over it. Good luck ;)

if he's really your friend then you should be honest with him .let him know that you were at a stage in life where you were curious and wanted to sxplore your sexuality an the best person you felt at that time to explore it with was him. Let him know that you love and respect him as a friend and would like for it to stay that way. Please be gently and considerated of his feelings and vunerabilty and don't encourage him to think that you like him in that way. Keep us posted

Just be honest...
Tell him that you were interested to see if it could go anywhere, but it couldnt or cannot (if that is what you feel)

If you dont want to be with him, be clear, firm, but kind

tell him your true feelings. if you have been friends that long, he willl understand. if he asks you out, theres no harm in going, as long as you arent doing it to be nice. what every your instincts are telling you to do, do it.

How do YOU feel about him?
You can't really do anything until you know how you feel yourself.
