secrets that were told in confidence.....or personal information that they know about their friend that you know they would not want anyone else to know about!!!!

Friend shouldn't disclose personal things without permission. Unless, if the information could be harmful. Let's say a friend has a severe drug problem and you've promised not to tell anyone. In that case, you should tell someone. The friend might hate you for a long time, but they will get the help they need and eventually come around.
