I'm friends with three other girls and they're really active and loud but I'm quiet and shy. Lately they've been startin to ignore me a bit and I'm kind of worried that they'll ditch me altogether. What can I do? I try to b more louder and stuff but then its just not working.

I was freinds with a girl in 5th grade then she moved, I'm 25 now. She might not even remeber me. I've found her home town and ph# using people search and a phone book. I hope to find out how she is doing and to see if she will be at my 5 yr class reunion.

I used to have a bunch of friends who became alcoholics and drug-abusers---&/or had other bad habits of some kind, so I eliminated them from my life...now I haven't got any friends.

Am I too picky? I'm a Christian, and want to live life as I believe is right---isn't there a way to meet people the right way---without going to a church? If you have some ideas, please share them. I'd like to hang out with someone once in awhile, but I have no one to ask. Weekends have become very lonely. Help please?

One of my best friends gave me the title of "godmother" and she has had a recent miscarriage. I don't know what to do other than to be with her.
We plan to have a ceremony soon for the baby but I don't know what type of gifts to buy or what to say or what the heck to do!

there are several guys interested in me that are in my life. the one is my off boyfriend. He says he loves me but he wont call me or talk to me. . He knows i love him i aint with no one else. He is just stubborn. he has a bad past but he told me he was happy with our future. I have a close friend that is 27, and Im 18. We do lots of things together like shopping, going fun places, and most of the time just hanging out watching t.v. or movies b/c we enjoy hanging out. I look up to her like a big sister and i think she is a really awesome person! I call her quite often b/c I like to catch up on stuff and see how she is doing. She is always nice to me and has never said or done anything to make me think she is annoyed by me, but I am wondering if I am overdoing it? She doesn't seem to mind me calling, but I feel like if i dont call her then she will think I dont care to see what's up but then If I do call her i worry that she might be annoyed!! I dont know why i feel like this. its confusing. could u help?

My friend wants to have sex when she's 14(we are 13 now 8th grade).I think thats a very stupid idea.I think she might want to because her sister did when she was 14 and her sister told her not to do it now to wait.She says she just "wants to get it over with" but I think she's lying.The boy she's planning to do it with isn't a virgin and hasn't been for a year I think.My other friend and I have been trying to think of things to convince her not to do it but I think shes still going to do it regaurdless of what we say.I don't think I really want to be friends with a girl who is acting rather slutty for her age.Also she's been fingered and has done some other "things" if you know what I mean but not sex yet.

So here is the story. I met this girl when i was taking a math course at a college in the summer time. I've been talking to her for about 3 months now. She is always bothering me and leaving me little messages on my facebook account and things like that. But when i asked her if she would like to date me she told me that our friendship was way to important and she did not want to hurt me or loose me. Now if that is the truth then why does she send me mixed signals and flirt so much. I mean am i missing something or am i just missreading her. I dont even know which way to move anymore. There's this guy in one of my classes. He's kinda short, slender, and has a goatee and longish hair. For some reason, he's chosen to not like me. I've never even spoken a word to him before. He gives me mean looks and when he passes papers up and I don't notice, he hits them very loudly and disrespectfully on the desk. When I go to take them, he shoves them into my hand rudely. I'm a girl, I'm not ugly or weird-looking, so why does he have this hateful attitude towards me? And don't tell me I'm imagining it. I know he's got a problem with me. I'm really shy and quiet in class. I just can't figure out why he doesn't like me. It's almost like he thinks I'm a reject or something. I didn't think guys behaved this way towards girls. What gives?
