I'm guessing these people were girls, right? Well, whatever. If she's beautiful and you think she is, tell her. But if she wants to fix herself up than help her. It's the least you can do as a friend. Give her some tips and go out once in awhile to meet some guys your age or just to have fun. She needs to be around new people, a new environment where she doens't feel low about herself.

that's so neat that you would take up for your friend like that. you are a true friend!!. what is ugly? people telling people they are ugly? a good question. what do you think? i say they are without supervision at home and not only are they ugly, their P- A -R- E -N- T- S -ARE TOO. you can't fix this people. they are programmed by their dumb *** parents. you see, when we have kids, THE PARENTS are supposed to raise them not nannies. not the perverts down the road. not the church. not the day care, (who knows where those people have been) BUT MOMMIES AND DADDIES. when ever will they get it.????????? the bottom line is, to you velvet parents, if you can't afford to raise you own child that God gave you. think ahead before you take off that rubber. oh, back to your friend rebecca, i'll bet my last sweet potao that she looks as good or better than they. hey, do you have any beauty skills? ask her to come to you house for sodas, make her feel comfy, and see what you think you would do if it were you. good luck!

Just keep reassuring her and being her friend. If you think she's strong enough maybe you could help her with her appearance like showing how to put on make up or go shopping with her to spruce up her wardrobe. Maybe get some of your other friends to reassure her too. Also, you might want to tell her to back off for a while on asking guys out because the constant rejection isn't good for her.

Just keep assuring her that she is not ugly. Help her to do her hair and maybe some makeup. A little make over always makes women feel better.

Unfortunately there is nothing you can do. She has to develop her own self esteem. Just be her friend and point out the non-physical qualities you love about her.

She needs to look in the mirror and tell herself that she is not ugly.
Tell her it does not matter what other people think, all that is important is what she thinks and how she feels.
Sincerely, Jerry

Encourage her, help her find a guy who's not a loser and has similar interests as she does... Problem solved.
