give him more hints to say whether r not u like him, or ask him urself. it is not stupid and i think ur wrong 4 saying it is. its nerves and everyone has them he's afraid of getting rejected. a lot of guys like a girls but are too nervous to ask. if and when the girls figures out that he likes her she can respond accordingly in a few ways (if she likes him too), 1. she can outright ask him out, 2. she can give clear hints to him such as eyecontact, 3. she can talk to him a lot and establish herself as a kind person then the guy wont be thinking omg if she diesnt like me she'll kill me or embarrass me publically
i know that at least i think about the worst case results when i like a girl and that makes me "shy" too.
it sounds like ur guy is like me and needs hints and/or a confrontation to get it out of him

well shyness doesn't happen all the freaking times , for example me , i am kinda shy when standing next to a hot girl or basically a hot female and i can't even pull off a fking line to say, BUT when i get to a Videogame store with a freaking hot female cashier , i just ain't got no problem at all, the thing is i have and holding my favor VG . i wanna say is that when u have something u love in hands or carry it with u , it will help u divide the fking shyness a little bit , better than none. also consider the environment , look for a nice and less crowded places to act out or talk first , and for some accquantances , better do some practices on what u would like to say to that person or how to act ? write a fking piece of fking paper if needed . that's basically all the craps i can think of, dammm

He's shy for the same reasons you are (I mean, have you asked him out?). If he clearly likes you, he may not be asking you out because:
> he's got to build up his courage to risk being rejected;
> he's grounded and he doesn't want to tell anyone;
> he's saving up his money and doesn't want to say he's broke at the moment;
> something else.
Point is - there could be a lot of reasons why he's waiting, some good, some that make sense only to him. So what's holding you back? If you like him, and you want to go out with him, why not be the one to risk rejection and ask? The worst he can say is "no," which won't kill you, and he might say "yes!" Good luck!

its not that stupid some people are really shy because it has something to do with there past .why would he like you ? because he feels like he can talk to you . its like you summon up all your courage but then at the last moment you lose it all some people are just shy because they like you or they don't feel like talking
if you talk to him i think he will freeze up on the out side but on the inside he really likes you and wants to say something really truthful to you you can ask your friend to ask for you or something

Hes probably thinking that you may not like him. You should talk to him and ask him about that. If you want him to ask you out so badly. Try making the first move.

I still have the same problem sometimes. im a guy and well, when u totally hav a crush on a chick u think to urself im ugly, she dosent like me, i suck and she rocks *no match*. im from florida and my advice to u is is say do u wana go out with me sometime? and if ur one of those "blondes" meaning Ms. popularity and picky then say 'if u like me just tell me'

Well i had the same problem with my best friend last year.And you seem to have the same problem here.So I suggest that you just either ask him if he does or just try to flirt and see if he asks you then unless you already know.Good Luck!

Stupid, but true. Maybe he was burned, a few times before.
Once burned once or twice, it's hard for guys to talk to girls, no matter what we think of them.
