There's this guy in one of my classes. He's kinda short, slender, and has a goatee and longish hair. For some reason, he's chosen to not like me. I've never even spoken a word to him before. He gives me mean looks and when he passes papers up and I don't notice, he hits them very loudly and disrespectfully on the desk. When I go to take them, he shoves them into my hand rudely. I'm a girl, I'm not ugly or weird-looking, so why does he have this hateful attitude towards me? And don't tell me I'm imagining it. I know he's got a problem with me. I'm really shy and quiet in class. I just can't figure out why he doesn't like me. It's almost like he thinks I'm a reject or something. I didn't think guys behaved this way towards girls. What gives?

I just don't think it's because he likes me. I don't mean this in an arrogant way, but I am pretty and no one at school looks like me. But I'm also shy to the point of people thinking I'm mute and I usually just wear a hoodie to class or something. Why would he like me?

One of you mentioned that maybe he's angry about being short. I'm 5'9" and tall for a girl. Could that be making him mad?

Who knows?!?!?!? He's angry about something, you may or may not have anything to do with it. He may me angry because you look like someone he knows. Ignore him. Or say "Dude, is there a problem here between us?"

Hmmm... You might want to get an opinion from an objective person. Is there anyone in your class that you trust. Do you know anybody who knows this guy. I remember when I was younger that certain groups of people who maybe felt "disenfranchised", held resentment toward other groups of people that represented the "privilaged" (for lack of better terms). So, it may not have anything to do with you, but what you represent to this guy.

Sounds to me that he likes you... And hes trying to get your attention so you notice him even if its in a rude way... If i were you i would just smile at him everytime he makes a rude face... Just look at him everytime he does something mean and smile very big like hes your best friend... Either he will start smiling back or if he doesnt then its a good way to piss him off :D

I understand this is going to be hard but people like that.You gust left your shoulders up and say quite been a butt head.If you don't like me am not going to change for you only.If you have something wrong with me tell me.Maybe you and I can at least be Sibel to each other during school.After school take it what you like.

Not all guys behave like this to all the girls. There's a lot of reasons why he's acting like this...why don't you talk to him about it or try to do something?

ask him maybe he likes you and feels thats the only way you will notice him. he may have low self-esteem. confront him and get it out of the way. if he has a problem wouldnt you rather know what it is that you may have done(not saying you done anything) to upset him and made him act this way?

he is annoyed at being short and is trying to make up for it by being a bully (believe me guys hate it when their short)
ok so maybe it is b/c ur 5ft 9in and he's short that he specifically hates u as apposed to some other girl.
Its not ur fault, but it still makes him angry

He's got it for you soooooooooo bad and he's too immature to admit it even to himself, far less deal with it. Easier just to be nasty to you. Tell him it's a shame that he dislikes you, because you like to be friends with people. Watch him fall to pieces.
