My so called "best friend" is a girl named jessica. today in band class she was acting really weird to me, i seriously had no clue why. Later on I found out that Jessica (my friend) told the girl whom i will be taking to my schools homecomming, not to go the the dance with me. My date asked me why jessica tol her that and i really dont know why. any suggestions of what to do in this scenario? Im realle Pissed so Id really appriciate all of your answers. Thankyou (Oh keep in mind i took my friend jessica to homecomming last year, and she said she had a good time, but why would she tell my date that this year?) Jessica has a boyfriend also keep that in mind.

I know I am! I wish I had a good friendship with someone..Its hard nowadays to find someone who will be there for you and not be jealous or lie to you..I wish I could meet a new person and get to know them. I really would like a female friend someone I could talk too and be there for. I don't really can't about distance..I guess I am saying all of this becaue I believe oneday God will bless me with a "true friend".. Is there anyone out there who thinks and feels the same way??

I've known this woman all my life, she is old enough to be my mother and is actually close friends with my mother, too. She has always been kinda "closed" as far as sharing things, but used to open up to me and has just been in this "funk" for a good almost ten years now, my husband was starting to think she didn't exist! If I visit her, she is snippy and every now and then we'll talk on the phone but I go months/years trying to contact her every now and then (she travels a lot so I can't complain whole-heartedly) and just occasionally do I get to talk with her. I've talked to her once in the last year, but adore the heck out of her and how do I even tie her down to tell her that? Any ideas???

i have this friend...we are practically very close...she;s the funniest person i met and we laugh everytime we're together....but the problem is that her sense of humor is something cruel and hurting...she makes fun of me a lot and points out imperfection on my body and face and continues to make fun of me. She doesnt know that what she says hurts me...but it does i feel VERY insecure now and i rarely wanna go out anymore...what should i do? confront her? the main reason why i feel insecure is because she is 10x prettier than me and im not sure why she likes to put me down.

My son says he hangs out with both boys and girls. chillin with his homies is alright but with girls. Hes handsome and straight. You can tell right away. I have this friend that I have known probably about 15 years. We went to jr high school together. Also we are both now 30. We dated a few times after we both graduated, he was the nicest guy I have ever dated. We had went to different high schools. He decided to join the Army and was sent to Germany after basic training. We lost contact with him being in Germany, I ended up getting married at a young age to someone else. Within the past 5 months or so He looked me up on Classmates. He has also called me from Iraq, where he is currently. It seems like we had never lost touch. He tells me everything and I tell him basically everything. I just get the impression by our conversations that he would like more than a friendship, or maybe he could just be very lonely being so far from home. Anyone have an answer?

I came from a rather large family. 4 s and 7 boys including myself. We're going through a pretty difficult time. I'm sorry if i have any spelling mistakes cause it's almost 3:00 where I live and i can't think when i'm up so late. My friend and I have not spoken with one another in several months. She is a dear friend of mine and her birthday is this month. I want to send her a birthday wish but should I ? When we initially had our "outs" with one another, I immediately tried to contact her several times and apologized as well........all via email. Absolutely no repsonse from her. Should I try one more time to make a connection with her on her birthday? My instincts say to just forget it, it's done with. My compassionate side wants to reconnect and heal our friendship. Her anger with me was when I started dating and spending time with a very special guy whom I continue to date......she is married, owns her own business with her husband and is quite busy herself. I just don't think I was living my life according to her terms and she got angry........

My friend, Paul, has been fighting w/his wife for the past 2-3 weeks and seems very depressed/upset over it. I was thinking about sending him a little present in the mail to his work to cheer him up. Any idea on what I could send? Something little just to lift his spirits... and no candy because he is trying to lose some weight.. I am kind of at a lost... I don't want it to be too personal but just something that will maybe help him feel a little happier..
