Everyone i know jokes and laughs with me, but thats all they seem to do!
They dont take me seriously, and when i try to be serious, some of them just end up arguing! o.0

Like this guy, i laugh and joke with him all the time, but tend to argue over the smallest things when i am serious. Serious as in being normal, not being cheeky or funny, just normal.

How should i stop clowning around?

We moved from PA to OH about 3 years ago and ever since she has been so disrespectful to her stepfather and I. It has gotten so out of hand, and she wants to move back with her Nan (my mom), she tells us everyday how much she can't stand her life and us, and that she will runaway. Sometimes she can be pleasant and then turn in the blink of the eye. I don't know what to do, I have tried grounding her and taking away things that she likes to do, but nothing works. It is totally ruining our relationship as mother and daughter. I can't stand to wake up in the morning because I know the fighting will start all over again. Please any advice will do, I don't know if I should take her to the doctor to be checked for a mental disorder. I AM however, going to start taking her to a counselor to talk to. HELP!!!

He's 11 and I'm 13 but that doesn't matter but he really creeps me out he just stares at me and it REALLY creeps me out!
What can I do to stop him from staring at me??????????
(And hopefully make him stop liking me!)

How do you stop that - i cant help it, either im too embarassed or too ashamed to change my "normal" behaviour.

Example: When my mum pisses me off, i get really angry, even though i know that im not feeling that angry - just dont wana change the way i behave all the time.

OR when i like a guy and its quite clear that he fancies me, i still act as though i dont fancy him, just incase im wrong...DAMN! (this has happened so many times btw!)

I think im a bit stressed!

I asked a question a couple of days ago about my husband recently wanting to be more independent. I got great answers from everyone but wanted to post a follow up since I've talked with him. He has told me that he loves me and will always love me, but lately feels as though he doesn't know if marriage is what he wants... He feels sometimes that he doesn't want to "have" to call me, or doesn't want to feel obligated to come right home after work. He feels like he wants to come and go as he pleases but come to me when he wants to. Here's a little background- I'm 27; he's 25; we've been married for 3 years. He told me he still wants to work it out; but just wants a little more time being "himself" rather than "the couple". I really don't have a huge problem with this- we are just used to being pretty much joined at the hip. He said he'd like to speak to a therapist to find out if this is just a phase we're going through or if this means we should't be married. What do you all thinK?

my girlfriend and I are planing to get married. we have had a great relationship in all aspects. we are both are very sexual, and have enjoyed a comitted, satisfying relationship in this respect. She is in The Netherlands now and having trouble with her visa to return to the States. We've been apart 2 months. She told me she needs sex and can not wait until she gets back to the States. She is trying to convince me its only physical it will mean nothing but she has the need to be intimate. I am against it. I know she is going out with some of her male friends there. Her explanation is that she is very social but if she is comfortable with someone she meets she is going to be intimate with them. She also said she will tell me about it in an effort to be honest. When I was a baby I was adopted into a great family. Often people ask me "how it feels to be adopted" or say "ohhh that sucks, I'm so sorry," but I feel blessed! Adoption saved me from a drug filled, poverty ridden life.

this woman i love has two beautiful sons ... she is going through rehab for some problems .. when she was here with me .. we were so close .... she loved me and i knew it .. i could feel it .. now she is away .. and i had not had any contact with her for 2 months. i prayed for a way to contact her and i found her on myspace. i have been sending her emails but she does not respond back or even acknowledge me. ?? i am confused ..... i am hurting alot because of how deep inside of me i have let her .... and she is being silent to me ? i don't know what to do ? i also suspect that she made up the story of going someplace else for a rehab clinic ... just so she could get me to not pursue her . yet this same woman has told me she loves me ... she had much respect for me and she trusts me ..... her own words .....so why the silent treatment ? and for you christians who answer .... every single prayer about her and for her has been answered so far with a yes ... every time ? so what's going on
