I know in Europe have home and places for people when they get old. In Asia we take care our father and mother ourself. I don't like if I could - to put my parents in special place for elder. How can you do that ?? Don't you think they need you by their side. Why is Europe same this. Not good at all. Is that wellfare??

the girl has a bf who cheated on her for 3 of their so far 7 months together and she stays with him. also her friends give her hell for staying with him and shes says she loves him and he might be the one for her and hes faithful now. does it make her a human doormat or just dumb?

I'm deeply in love with the most fantastic guy in the world - he's caring, intelligent, interesting, polite, good looking and we share the same views and values. He is on love with me too. We have known eachother for 1.5 months and he sends me letters (by post as he finds it more romantic than e-mails), he calls me every 2-4 days and sends me text messages. There are only 2 problems:
1. We live in different countries but as he has already moved from other country then I don't really think this is a big problem, I'd be willing to move too if needed.
2. He has a girlfriend, they have been together for 4 years. I've met her too and she's a nice person but too boring. He's very emotional and active, she's rather quiet and rational. They don't show any affection in public at all.

We haven't made love and I told him that I will not sleep with his unless he's single again. At the beginning he told me that although he's in love with me, he can't leave her. Now he said that I can hope.

I honestly don't think it could, because I support my girl every step of the way, but could my girlfriend's being bi-curious have a negative effect on us? ...have known her for 2 years and we were supposed to go and see a show the other night. My poor mother took ill and I couldn't make it. I gave my friend the money back for the show (including paying for hers), so she could enjoy the night out with someone else instead. I even gave her some money for a meal. I felt bad letting her down, but my mother comes first to me. Since this has happened, my so called friend hasn't even asked how my mother is and she says "I think our friendship has run its course".
