I know in Europe have home and places for people when they get old. In Asia we take care our father and mother ourself. I don't like if I could - to put my parents in special place for elder. How can you do that ?? Don't you think they need you by their side. Why is Europe same this. Not good at all. Is that wellfare??

I know what you mean, here in the Middle East, we're really family oriented and there is no such thing as "elderly homes". The parents are usually taken care of by the oldest son.
A shot in the dark as to why they do exist in places like the U.S. though--is maybe because independence is viewed as breaking away from your parents and making it on your own. Living with your parents may be viewed as something negative with people thinking "he's a grown 35 year old man, and yet he STILL lives with his parents?!"

You should do what your heart tells you. Don't be swayed by public opinion or what other's do. Follow your heart for the truth.
