do trees go to heaven ?
now how do i answer that one ?

I have just read some of the answers to your lovely question. Aren't there some idiots around? Just answer yes to your little girls question. Let her enjoy her childhood and her child beliefs..
She will be older much longer than she will younger. She has time to learn. Thesame with Santa Claus, fairies at the bottom of the garden, the tooth fairy, pixie dust at bed time, Prince Charming, All important in a child's life. Do you really want to take that away from her ?

A tricky one. You could say that they do, it isnt going to hurt anyone. Maybethey go up to heaven and become a part of a big forest in the sky. On the other hand, you could say that only people go to heaven. I dont think it would be too devastating to find out that trees dont go to heaven.

I think the best way around this is that there are plenty of trees and flowers in heaven and therefore they do not need to go there. So only peoples souls are in Heaven to look after the trees and flowers there.

We believe that God creates all things with a living spirit that gives them life. You could explain that heaven is a place for people and the spirits of trees and plants and animals go there once they, too, have fulfilled the measure of their creation, just like people. So technically, trees do go to heaven to make it beautiful for all of the people!
Doesn't it amaze you what they think about?!

I guess it can't be any worse that trying to explain how babies are made to a 3 year old! Lol...My little brother (who is 7 years old) thinks that there is a car heaven in the form of a never ending motorway, Fish heaven (or one big ocean) and he thinks that our heaven is a big garden where lots of pretty flowers and trees grow...And there is a man that feeds you all the ice cream and sweets you could possible ever eat...Apparently! :-)

tell her that heaven is for good people who makes....(list her good morals and every thing you like her to do), and tell her the truth that God is testing people not trees, at the same time tree can be a reason to go heaven through caring it.

I honestly do not know how I would answer this question.. I just did a search on yahoo and needless to say it goes into do dogs or pets go to heaven. Hmmm a good question and one I would just answer I am not sure about. If you go to church, maybe I would ask there.

id say there are trees in heaven but when trees die they decompose back into the ground to help make the new baby trees
