when they are mature enough, fall in love with an equally mature and loving person, have financial stabtility and are ready to spend the rest of their lives with that other person. Best if they have lived life a little so that the responsibilities of marriage dont leave them feeling buden and as if they missed out. I went to college first, traveled a lot, got a job, bought my own apartment and car, saved a little, made many friends, dated many interesting people, spent a lot of energy getting to know myself and sorting out any issues and then got married to a very loving man.

Okay, so why do men stay in long term relationships, without marrying the women?
Some men just don't want to commit and the reason is because they have everything they need and want without the marriage! Unfair? I think so.

If a boy asking this question, my answer would be
when he thinks that he can give all the happiness and a good healthy life to his life(wife). When he is financialy sound and in love with someone.
If a girl asking this question, my answer would be
when she thinks that now she can endure so many relations and is ready to sacrifice anything for her love.
Generally, my answer would be when a person faounds his true love.

when they are totally in love, with no doubts at all, have a steady job, can picture there self with them forever, and always be there for there spouse no matter what, trust is not broken, your happy with the person you want to marry,, and you must be an adult, because when your young, you do stupid things that you wish you didn't do, two years later,,,,ya,,thats all i can think of 4 now,, hope i helped

When a person is ready to take on the responsibilties, not only financially, but also everything else. When a person is willing to make sacrifices to make a relationship work would also be good.

they should get married whenever they want..i know people that were dating for 5 months and got married.. and i know others that were together years and got married it all depends on the person. when your ready you just know it

when one gets social awareness, and understands the difficulties, plus and minus, responsibilities and the very meaning of marriage.
not when he/she comes to know about sex. coz sex is not the only concept of the married life. marriage is centered in between all the above mentioned concepts and a part of happy married life is healthy sexual relationship between the couple.
