It's like women always want more freedom. Most of them don't want to be stuck at home all the time. They want to have jobs. They don't want to be typical wives. So, why can't this thing be equal and don't pull out the rejection card on me. Why can't a "boy" ask a "girl" out as much as a "girl" can ask a "boy" out? I know, it's more appealing, w/e, and I know what you girl are thinking, but shouldn't your personality have more of a role to play in a relationship rather than the "first impression?"

Here's the story, I have been married to my husband for 2 1/2 years. I love him very much and I am in love with him. I wouldn't have married him if I wasn't. We had an in depth conversation and he revealed to me that he loves me but he is not in love with me and he never was. I don't understand. He couldn't explain it to me either. How could you marry someone you're not in love with? Can anyone out there help me understand? I'm not sure that I can stay married to him if he does not reciprocate those feelings. I do understand that marriage is about more than love...but isn't that the foundation of a marriage? Isn't that why we marry in the first place? Help!!!

Im in a very difficult situation and ive tryed everything to make things better but nothings worked. Ok im sure most of yall gonna be shocked but this is true and its my life ok. My father is gay and has a boyfriend who has a VERY nice lookin brother and my dad's boyfriend's brother is bi but has been with women more than men anyways i know this might sound crazy but i have fallen for him he is currently living with me and my father and his boyfriend. My father and him started to hang out while his boyfriend was at work and my father has devolpe a crush on him and now he has become obbested to him. His boyfriend doenst know but my dad really likes his brother but his brother doesnt want that with my dad and he told my dad he likes me and my dad started to get jelous and forbid me to hang out with him or he'll kick me out or him and we both have no where to go so we keep on the low but lately things have gotton so bad that my father gets mad if i sit in the same room as that guy

My fiance's mother underminds my every move.
I took her to the grocery store earlier and I ran into an old school mate who happend to be guy we spoke and that was all teased about the old days and stuff, but when I caught up with her she was snarling at me and muttering mean things about me she even told the cashier to ring up her groceries fast so that the slut with her could take her home. I was horrified and so embarressed this isnt the first time shes been mean to me like this. I never tell my boyfriend because I dont want any trouble to start, but she constantly hurts my feelings especially when she comes over while hes away on business she bosses me around but in front of him shes sooo nice to me sometimes I just wish the lady would just kick the bucket, but thats mean so I dont know what to do... I just want to be with her son not her, but shes always lurking finding ways to insult me.. how can I cope?

he isolated me from all my friends and family for three years. he used emotional and real threats such as physical violence or saying he'll kill himself. it's been couple of years since it's over but i am afraid i still carry the emotional baggage. how do i know if i carry the baggage? i think even if you're well-adjusted and happy now, the signs of such trauma may show in your interactions with the others (especially in dating) without you realizing it. I really do not want this experience to hurt me or disadvantage me in any way any longer. i suffered enough. in other words, if a car hits you you can see when your body heals, but how do you know whether you healed or not from a psychological trauma?

I went to my brother's graduation dinner the other night (He just got his undergraduate degree) and when he was making a speech I kind of...well farted. I had eaten a lot at the reception earlier and couldn't help myself. Anyways people kept looking at me rudely because my gas was loud and it ruined my brother's speech. I tried to apologize but I had an onion roll in my mouth and its rude to talk with your mouth full. So when the dinner ended, my brother wouldn't speak to me. What can I do to get our relationship back in order?
