It's like women always want more freedom. Most of them don't want to be stuck at home all the time. They want to have jobs. They don't want to be typical wives. So, why can't this thing be equal and don't pull out the rejection card on me. Why can't a "boy" ask a "girl" out as much as a "girl" can ask a "boy" out? I know, it's more appealing, w/e, and I know what you girl are thinking, but shouldn't your personality have more of a role to play in a relationship rather than the "first impression?"

It comes from the confidence level of the person. Confident, educated women ask men out. You will also find that these same women often have major leadership roles in companies and in politics. For example, love her or hate her, Hillary Clinton asked Bill Clinton out on a date while the two were in the Yale Law Library. This action was an early display of a confident woman who wasn't afraid to take the initiative and wanted to create her own destiny, rather than wait on a guy or someone else to create it for her. She recognized that she liked him, realized what needed to be done, and had the confidence to do it. This confidence over flowed into future leadership areas. Women who don't ask guys out on dates are like those who want a job, but rather than mail out resumes, fill out applications, and pound the pavement, they sit by the phone just waiting for that special employer to call them.
