I went to my freinds 21st birthday party, and got really drunk, and tried to walk home, but all I remember, is waking at up at 2.00am, in someones front yard garden pond (very wet) and a turtle was dancing on my head, and some guy yelling at me, "get outta my ******* pond, you idiot, what went wrong.?????????

Hey there.I'm rita n I'm 18.I'm about to join an Engineering college and although I have had really good friends (who are positive n trust worthy),it had taken a long time (2 months max)to earn their trust.This is only bcoz all my first impressions suck.And NO,I'm so not insecure.My jokes seem hurtful in many ways n I dont seem to realize it at that instant.And in India,You've got prove yourself.It's not about being witty or pretty (which I am,a whale of humor{scratch whale}).It's about leadership quality and scoring higher marks.urgh!This is exactly why it takes time.I've gotta wait for a pop quiz etc.Why doncha guys toss some easy ways to connect with others.
P.S: Indians are highly gregarious so I gotta hurry

I love my fiance. very much. but i know when i am with him, a part of me is shadowed. he's a very intelligent man, and when we go out, he takes center stage. I wouldn't mind this if i didn't feel i never get a chance to voice my opinion. He's very engaged in conversations, and usually directs them towards others, so I feel uncomfortable butting in. This makes me feel very aloof in public situations with him. Not to mention that his friends think I have no opinion on anything, and that I am not very smart!
The thing is I am a very opinionated woman, and before I met him, I had great conversations with people. Now, except when I hang out with my friends alone, I feel like I am losing my voice.
I should also add that I am a writer, and I feel this loss of voice is slowly creeping into my writing as well.
In a nutshell, what can I do? I tried to talking to him, but it seems i;m asking him to alter his personality, which I do not want to do. But I feel I constantly try to prove i'm smart

My mother is worried about me. Sometimes I am normal, sometimes I am depressive, sometimes my mind is absent, sometimes I need rest.
I am not sure if I can bear married life because I am not able to accept stressfull situations. But on the other hand I am lonely.
Should I remain alone or should I marry and risk my heath?

I think my parents have been talking about getting a divorce. I never thought that they would split up, but it is because of my brother. He suffered a head injury, and my mother baby's him, and my father thinks he should get out of the house and get a job. He isn't disabled, and he is perfectly capable of holding a job, he is just lazy. My parents fight about him all the time, and they have had enough of eachother. Can someone talk to me if any similar thing has happened to you? Thanks.
