I fell in love when I was 7 years old

the reason that i say that i fell in love at age seven is because ever since the first time i saw her i couldn't get her out of my mind, every few months i would see her and she would notice me, after years of me seeing her i finally got the courage to ask her out, i was about 14 years old, we then started dating which lasted about two months (happiest two months of my life, so far) and then we broke up because she said we could use some time apart. courently i am 18 years old and have had other girls but i could never really get my first true love out of my mind. that is why i believe that fell in love at age seven

Well I think "love" can be learnt at a very young age but "responsibility" is something learnt much later in life (i.e. after you finish your studies and got yourself a steady job).

I think you need both before you are "ready to fall in love". Without a sense of "responsibility" - "love" doesn't mean much. Its just Hollywood love.

I think it depends on the community's culture & educational level, the person's phisiological factors, the one's family approach, the parrent's view... These are some of the factors that shape such a vision to these kind of actions. Then, I think u cannot find a unique way, a unique time etc to say a girl or guy must fall in love. For exapmle in the eastern countries, it can occur arround 13 to 18 by average, but it could be 9 to 15 in west.
And also, it depends on the "meaning" of FALLING IN LOVE, u consider! People can have so many meanings of a word for themselves, it depends on the Mental Framework of them.
It is just my opinion, there may be no scientific basis for it! :)

At a young age I don't think it is love, it might be puppy love, you have to learn who you are and what you want out of life before you know who you want to be with. Enjoy your childhood, be a kid, and give yourself some time to learn what love really is. I think you should be at least 18-20+ years old. You will know when it is true love because you will want to spend all your time with the person.24/7

Being 21, I can speak from some experience but still not sound like a harping adult (hopefully!). When I was 13, I thought I was in love. Like REALLY in love. I could see myself marrying him. But fastforward a year and I could've cared less. Being young is all about finding out who you're attracted to and who isn't your type. Leave the serious love business for when you're older and want to settle down. You're young, have fun now!

To fall in love with somethings or somebody? At the age of 7 you can really tell if you are "in love". You might love somebody just in same way as you "love" somethings. Can one really tell , at the age of 7, the different between falling in love with a somebody or "somthings"?

I fell in love when I was 5 in kindergarten. It didnt work out. I was traumatized and wasnt able to make anything out of all the "crushes" that followed throughout my school years. I didnt date till I was 17. Oh woe is me.

There's no age limit to fall in love...But to know what's love, i guess 7 years old is too young to understand the word of 'love'.. It takes maturity to understand love and managing love.

Um...I think people start to really understand what is love when they are older...like 11 up...so I think it's proper to fall in love older then 11
