Hey there.I'm rita n I'm 18.I'm about to join an Engineering college and although I have had really good friends (who are positive n trust worthy),it had taken a long time (2 months max)to earn their trust.This is only bcoz all my first impressions suck.And NO,I'm so not insecure.My jokes seem hurtful in many ways n I dont seem to realize it at that instant.And in India,You've got prove yourself.It's not about being witty or pretty (which I am,a whale of humor{scratch whale}).It's about leadership quality and scoring higher marks.urgh!This is exactly why it takes time.I've gotta wait for a pop quiz etc.Why doncha guys toss some easy ways to connect with others.
P.S: Indians are highly gregarious so I gotta hurry

I think people that you want to be your friends should accept you for who you are. No one should have to change who they are to please others. Maybe you should think before you speak, first impressions can never be taken back. But don't be someone you are not because then they will never know the real you.
