i recently got back with my ex girlfriend and we really wanna make it work and never really saw eye to eye with her best mate but she has recently warmed to the idea that my ex girlfriend is really happy with me, we are due on a night out tonight and its realy the 1st time iv come face to face with her....i was wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to break the ice and get on so to speak??? help!

A small present is always good. For example, I bought my soon to be husbands sister in law a Lilly plant called a 'peace plant'. It seemed to do the trick. It just shows that you are prepared to start over again and see her as a human being with feelings that matter. When you are out, make a real effort of ask questions about how she is and what she has been up to. Buy rounds of drinks also for everyone so she realises you are a nice, generous kind of guy.

I wouldn't advise a gift or anything, not on the first night of you really getting the chance to be around each other.
Just smile and relax and make an effort to get the drinks in, make sure you keep her glass filled, general nicness in female company is always good.
Don't go over the top though or you'll look like your flirting.

you just have to be yourself as long as your intention to her friend is genuine she will get on with you easily, don't try to be somebody you're not because it doesn't work that way, be yourself, enjoy your night out, show to her friend that you really love your girlfriend and she will approve to you by all means.
