I am in my late twenties and live at home. The other night I stayed over at this guy's house that I am dating...I behaved myself and all, but it made my parents look really down on me. I understand where they are coming from, saying it is wrong, and I need to respect their rules since I'm living here under their roof, but I just wondered if anyone had any advice or similar situation. I know I won't live here forever, and I am also kind of bummed that I can't do what I want, but I will have to find a good way of looking at it. Any advice or comments?

I have 2 children that are still minors, 15 and 13.
I've applied, and they've sent me letters that they will serve him, but he keeps changing jobs, and now he's fired. He also keeps changing addresses. He had 2 kids by 2 different women before the marriage, we had our 2 during the marriage, 1 was by another woman and the child was born 3 days before the divorce! He also had another by yet another woman after the divorce.
He kept bothering me to let my son come stay with him for a year, and I did, only for my son to be on his own, and in the streets til all hours. He wouldn't even give my son a key to his new apt.
So where was my son to go? He failed 8th grade, and had to go to summer school. Now, even though I went and got him, his father keeps calling him to come out there, and there are times I don't know he went. He doesn't care about him or summer school, because he kept him out for 5 days. I say if he can afford an apt.he can pay for his kids. I'm a teacher in IL.

he was my bf, he was my 1st kiss(when we weren't dating) i've never kissed him while we were bf/gf. i hug him, i sit on his lap...but i can't say i love him. he would really die 4 me, & he tells me he luvs me constantly, but i can't say it back. y not? & i've gone out w/ him 3 times. y do i keep letting him hug, kiss & tell me he loves me, if i say i don't love him? what's wrong w/ me, & y can' ti say i love him, when it seems i do? i don't want to luv him, but maybe i do. help!!!

she's completetly controlled by her mom, they talk non stop. she lies about talking to her and she will do anything she says, she even divorced her last husband because her mom told her to.

WHY does EVERYONE STILL ASK ME ABOUT MY EX??
Everyone talked about me and my ex boyfriend when we were together and we broke up 2 years ago and people STILL ask me about him!! They ask stuff like "What REALLY happened with you and him?" or make comments like "I thought you guys were going to last" Just WHY do you think they say stuff like this??

I have done the therapy thing for a long time on & off, read every freaking book known to man on the subject of relationships. There have been times I have cut it off for a while. When I break it off, he eventually comes back around and I sooner or later give in to him, because the reality is, is that I do care very much for him, have known him for a long time and love him very much. He will only let me get so close. Oh & did I mention the drinking problem, the lying, and the cheating? I realize I have serious issues to be caught up in this drama. There have been times I have been able to pull myself out of it, not so much latley though.

I'm usually really hard on guys when they don't come thru on their word. We've never seen each other (we were hooked up thru friends) so this would have been our first meeting. We have been talking on the phone everyday for about 4 days now. Well he told me he was off work today and that we could catch a movie. When I spoke to him today, he said he had to work for about 2 hours and then he was free.
When we talked afterwards, I mentioned getting together and seeing a movie and he said he didn't feel like a movie, but would come by and see me or I could come see him. I told him no. He said he had a really rough day and just didn't feel up to a movie. I later found out he may have possibly failed a test he had to take at his job. Should I continue giving him a hard time or just let it go?
I'm just used to guys always not coming thru on their word so I am giving him a hard time about not following thru on the movie plans. He said he is off on Tuesday and we would definitely go out then

I met a guy at church camp six years ago and we have had a long distance relationship but we are allowed to have other boyfriends and girlfriends because he moved to a different state. Here is the scenario, you meet two guys on the street and this is what you know:

Guy Number 1:
He has a hot body.
He has a job but does not make too much money.
He is not a very good conversationalist.
He swears a lot.
He watches sports on the weekends and drinks a lot of beer.
He hangs out at the bars on Friday and Saturday nights.

Guy Number 2:
He is not bad looking, maybe a bit short.
He has a great job and house and makes a 6 figure income.
He is shy but after you get to know him, he is a good conversationalist.
He only drinks occasionally.
He would rather go to bed early on Friday and Saturday nights so he can spend time with his girlfriend on the weekends.
He does not watch sports.

So ladies, which guy would you choose? And for those of you who say, "Oh, I would pick the guy with a good job and personality" how would he start a conversation with you?

Would you even let him start a conversation with you if he came up to you at a cafe, library, or grocery store?

My boyfriend and I have been together for four years. I think that's quite an accomplishment. It's hard nowadays to stay together so long. Besides go out to dinner (because we go out all the time) and have sex, what's something special we could do? i find that love and hate are often decided as the other... or that they are mix... are they two things that mix in one end and are barely seperated at the other or are polar opposites always like this... and if they are not opposites, what are there opposites....


i think they are a circle with a thin line, and that their opposites are nothingness... their opposites is no feeling at all...
