I've tried e-Harmony, and it was very well done. If you're looking for online dating, I'd go there.
However, I was very turned off by the whole online dating thing in general. My problem wasn't with a website, but with the expectations. I would rather just meet someone naturally and be friends. If something more happened, then that's great, but I didn't want to meet someone with all the expectations that come with meeting someone through a website - especially if you've been "matched" already. It can be a lot to live up to.
I know those sites do work though - so whatever makes ya happy =)
