Wow, what a quandary you are in! All I can say is this, if you feel like you cannot go because the situation may be too uncomfortable for you, then skip the party and tell your friend either you are not feeling too well or you had pland for that same night and forgot the anniversary party was on that same night.

Good luck with this!

Damn girl---your in hot dangerous water! It was rude just to start the affair in the first place let alone going to the anniversary party---what will you do when your best friend finds out? I would not want to be in your shoes!

If she is your friend then she is going to wonder why you didn't go. Do you still want to have a friendship with this woman? You really need to end the affair. A better friend would have told him to get lost and told her friend to get rid of him!

I don't think you can consider her a friend if you're having an affair with her husband. I'm sure she wouldn't consider you one if she knew the truth. "Mortal enemy" would be a better name for that relationship.

Get sick at the last minute and uh, you know that eventually this is all going to come out don't you? It always does. My great aunt used to say, "Whatever you do in the dark will certainly come to light."

She might be your friend but your not hers. Out of all the guys in this world that would gladly get in your pants, you want to betray your friend. The guilt belongs on your conscious if you have one.

i think that you should go and try to feel her out . see how she feels about the bi scene. maybe just maybe she's interested and then the 3 of you can continue without anymore guiltily feelings for you. i know it worked for me.
good luck
