It sounds like it's not really love...sorry. I think you enjoy the companionship of being with him and it sounds like he's probably a nice guy, but he's not getting you excited or making you think of him 24/7. If you really love someone, you'll definitely know it. That guy will be your one and only and you won't be able to think of anything else.

If you loved him, you would know it without any hesitation. Keep in mind that there are different forms of love. You love your parents, your friends, and romantic love is something very different. It could be that while you do sincerely care about him as a friend, as someone very dear to you, he is not the one that you want to spend your life with. Only you can answer this question.

Well I think you just have this feeling as if your leading him on in a way and you dont know how to break it to him, that you dont feel the same way.
sit him down, have an "adult" conversation. Discuss it and tell him why, make sure you have a reason why, dont be mechanical.
Both you and he, will see it was in the best interest of both of you.

Well. You can't force feelings on yourself. You just have to let them come naturally. Just ask him to chill with saying I love you if it bothers you a lot. I'm sure he will. Or then he'll ask why and just be blunt. Just say I'm not sure if I'm in love with you yet. And sometimes I love you doesn't mean you're in love. It could mean that you care about that person...a lot. You don't have to be IN love to say it. <3.

Love is a rare and precious comodity. It's really difficult to hurt someone who shares their love with us. It takes a very long time to figure out romantic love, give yourself time and date around.
