i knmow a woman for almost 20 years, she used to be my best friend and we saw each pther regularly and celbrated b-days and holidays. then see decided she wanted no more celebration of her b day. then she said no hoidays cards or get togethers she was not doing holidays. she lives a 20 min drive from me and works every day where she drives further than that. I have not seen her in over a year and a half, she says she is too fatiqued to come and see me or do any activity with me or get her home in shape I am welcome there. Is is possible she is depressed and fatiqued or do you think she had just dropped me and doesnt want to say it. She says she is not depresssed and is not annoyed with me just too tired and working hard . Yet, she has mentioned being in my area for an art show, the theatre etc. and never invites me.

I am looking to move house. I have two kids who at the moment have a bedroom each but I dont think I can afford to buy a house which will give them this luxury. The kids are aged 12 and 8. Do you think a shared bedroom is OK for kids at this age? or do I need to try to regig finances and try to afford a bigger house?

i have a 10,9,4 year old and they are begging for attention but i work hard everyday and i hardly have any money left over afterwards i am basically working to pay bills and keep a roof over our heads and do not get any help from any one is there anything i can do at home on the weekend beside picnics and softball..i havent even got cable for them so we watch old movies... i am really trying to be a good parent but would love to get them these thing but they are getting bored with our way... i have tried to cut ills in half so we can do things and ifind that just make it harder please help me come up with other thing ... i thought i was doing pretty good spending the time with them ...i didn't get that as a child and they are complaining more frequently now

hi, i think my girlfriend is having sex with her x cuz when we went out over to his friends place she and him went to get alchohol and i wanted to go and she said no. i said why can't i go with and she said i was too much of a watchdog...excuse me. then when we were going over to his place to drink she wanted to go with him driving over there rather than with me. i had to argue with her to get her to come with me driving. he and her always have to go behind closed doors so i can't see. it's not for long, but i don't know what they are doing. she even sat on his lap. she said she would do this but he couldn't touch her with his hands. then she sat with me. she always says to wait in the car to me while she goes inside her x's place. what r they hiding? when i go to her place she always says wait in the car. i got tired of waiting and went inside and she was on the phone with her x again. when i droped him off one morning at 5am i came back and she was on the phone again with her x.help

in yesterday's advice column in the st pete times, a woman wrote. My husband's aunt died and her memorial service is on the same day as my nephew's first b-day party where my family who lives a 4 hr drive away is getting together. my husband suggested he go for his aunt and i go see my family. Is this ok? the anser said No. funerals always take presidene

I think that is wrong. Nothing you can do for the dead . celebrate life. If it were my family id want us both to go the the b-day party and skip the memorial, What do all of you think?

A couple of yeats ago my husband and I had some issues with money. He never wanted to have joint bank accounts, or even want me knowing anything he did with his money. It's changed a alot between us (or so I think) but I recently quit my job, and the reason I never would stop working before is because I was afraid to depend on my husband, but he encouraged me for good reasons, and now I am going back to school full time, but then he pulls this shopping card s h i t and it pissed me off. When I asked him why he said he didn't think about it and since he was putting gas in both our cars he just put all the money on a walmart gift card.

I have never been one to have lots of friends, however I moved to a small town (lawton in oklahoma) and it seems like people are different here. They pretend to be your friend but only are when you can benefit them. I wish I could be around people I grew up with. This girl I know we went to school together, we live close to eachother but I would always want to do stuff but she's make excuses and then she called to borrow 20.00 bucks, I gave it to her and actually forgot about it but then when I called her to hang out she was busy.
