My partner and I have chosen a ring and it is a matter of time before I ask her to marry me. However, she has not divorced from her previous marriage. Is it 'right' to be engaged without being divorced from your last marriage or should I wait till the divorce is done.

I have a hard time finding girls to like me. I think it is because I am weird. I am a conservative Christian - yet I am artistically liberal. I like musicals, ballet, and classical music. I wright for concert bands and orchestras. I will be attending the University of Texas at Austin next fall (majoring in Mathematics) - a primarily democratic school, when I am a not. I enjoy poetry, philosophy, liberal arts, and fine arts. The moment I explain my likes and talents to a Christian girl, she is completely scared of me and runs away. When I actually attract a liberal girl, she is disgusted once she gets to know my religious beliefs. (Actually I have problems making friends in general.) Is there anyone out there for me, or am I just an isolated intellectual that will never find the love of my life?

i think i might like my best friend. everytime i see him i cant stop thinking about him. i mean i have never really felt weird around him cuz hes my best friend but i think i might be falling in love with him. and like in the halls when i see him i stare at him and i almost run into other people because of it. and if i see him in the corner of my eye i never really pay attention to anything else but him. so am i falling in love with my best friend?

If someone broke up with you because of something you accused their friend of doing.Then you tried to make amends a week later and they just ignored you.
