My gf and I have been together for three years straight, then off and on for anther two years. She's my first gf and the only girl I loved like this (so far). Though I had other gf's during our two year on and off relationships, I always break up with the others whenever she wants to get back again. Recently we broke up again because she said she was tired of me (again). I love her still, but I don't want to hurt anymore how do I move on? Where do I go from here?

I have been talking to this girl online and I just started speaking with her on the phone. I am 16 years old. I am going to be meeting her for the first time very soon. My friend has a girlfriend. He's been with her for 5 years. She takes prozac and is an alcoholic.
She has kicked him out several times over disputes, her drinking and he keeps going back. She owns the house he stays at when he goes home to visit. He has a place he rents in another state close to his work. He complains about her behaviour but still stays.
He told her it was over Monday and the next day or that same night she's in the hospital with some problem. It's Friday and he went back home to see her. He talks about leaving her and he hasn't yet.
He is a good man, I enjoy talking to him. He's smart and witty, but I can't seem to get thru to him that she is not good for him. He has another place to go and he has a good job but he still stays with this woman with all her issues. He's asked her to change but she hasn't. It's been ongoing for 5 years.
I do like him,I'm attractive,smart,I don't drink or do drugs and we get along great,but he keeps going back to her. WHY?

My ex bf wants us to get very serious (engagement and planning a wedding serious) but I wonder if I should let the guy who went to study in Europe, that I may soon be off the market. I was hurt when he left and said that he wanted to pick up where we were after he finished his two years of study. Part of me says I should call him now and give him one chance to stop me while another part of me says I should write him a long letter, send it the slowest possible way and tell him that by the time he reads this I will be picking out china patterns and getting fitted with my wedding dress.
