For one thing don't listen to all the negative answers that are posted because all they will do is bring you down and you don't need that. Have you moved on past your deceased wife? Because if you are going out on dates and not finding the "one" it could be that you are still stuck on your deceased wife. If you just can't find anyone, i'm sure that there are plenty of dating websites designed for people just like you. And i always go by the age old proverb of "If you stop looking someone might find you." Take care and keep your head up, i believe that love finds a way more than once a lifetime.

Too much technology. You are lucky. As you age , there are more women looking and available than men. Many of the men die off early. Many of the women in your age category are rich too for that reason. Try a church, elderhostel, anywhere 62 year old women go regularly. Do you get out enough? Only you can answer that, but you must get out of the house in order to meet someone. Join a club of some type, or go to the library. I have a friend that is 61, and he's going to the club with us tomorrow night. The point is somehow, you have got to get out of the house more to meet someone. They will not come knocking on your door. Good Luck!!

As we get older it is very hard to meet and find someone. What I did in my younger days to meet people I no longer do.
I have found the best thing is to get active in different things such as golf, going to ball games, joining a gym, network yourself by hosting dinner parties and in return you will be invited to some and soon you will be meeting new people. Look for differnet events in your city and different clubs to join as well.
You have to work a little more at it, but you will meet new people and that is the goal. A little hard work does pay off.

I think that most people your age is with someone.
I did have a friend that his wife passed away and he got on o widowers web and made friends with a lot of people.
Which buy the way he ended up getting married to one.

Sorry about your loss first off...
Do you do or go anyplace to meet someone? They are not going to come to you. I am only 30 yrs and I met my (44 yr old) husband at a singles place, had no alcohol or nothing bad.
Try church, meetings, card games, just get yourself out there.
Better yet pray God sends you a great woman.

I'm sorry your having a tough time... Keep your head up and try to have as much of a good time as you can. When you least exspect it .... Some hot ole thing will be tugg'n at you reels... because at ur age its hard and it also depends on how financially stable u r looks and all that. sumtimes women dont go with widowers because they feel that if u were once in love with a women and u were able to forget her and love sum1 else, that thats what u wud do to them. if u get what im saying. good luck

Quit looking at yourself as a number and start living your life by doing things and going to places you enjoy. You will find more people will be attracted to someone who is happy and busy.Go to social and group events.People are more secure in a group.And have fun:)
