was the girl that had the boyfriend that i really liked, that said that he liked his other girlfriend too, told me that he could hold her back while we went out, said that he liked me,but still he liked the other girl too, i also wanted to beat her up!!!!

My bf and I have been dating 4 years on July 21 and I was wondering what are some good gift ideas? Normally I would buy him a couple of things and then make something (one year I put a whole bunch of pictures of us together for a collage, things like that), just for the special significant purpose. This year, I'm SO out of ideas. Store bought and crafty ideas welcome!

I have been looking at answers from all over this site and there are a ton of answers where the guys are referring to single moms and the children are "baggage". Don't they realize how imprtant kids are?

I am a single mom (divorced - he is in prison for abuse) and have had the same thing happen. I turned down a guy that I had no interest in dating and he got nasty saying I just had "baggage" anyways because of my daughter and he did not want to deal with that.

I think that is the most offensive thing a guy could say because my daughter is my life and I would do anything for her. I was not a slut or easy or loose for having her, I was married and creating a family, but so many guys don't look at that.

How many other single moms are very offended when this happens? Why do guys do this?

My child is 13, has dark hair, eyes & olive skin. I have blonde hair/blue eyes. Her biodad is 3/4 Greek 1/4 Jordanian who is not in the picture at all. Her adoptive dad, my husband is brown hair, blue eyes. People ask her quite a lot where she's from or if she's Mexican. We live in the deep South where Mexican/Spanish individuals are looked on in a negative light. I know it's not right but "it is what it is". She is proud to say she's Greek & enjoys reading/studying Greece. Problem is her Daddy, the only Daddy she's ever known, is hurt/not happy about her telling people that because it opens the door to the existence of her biodad I was married to. Once he lost the custody battle he said "she's dead to me" and that was that. He's also not happy with me for ever telling her all about her being Greek. I felt it needed to be said because she even asked ME if she was Mexican! She knows the general story about biodad & that Daddy adopted her. What do you think about this situation? HELP!

I never cheated on my husband(had many opprtunity). Tried to be a good wife and be supportive.We had a kid together 4 yrs ago.He is really good looking & he acted like he's too good for me.While finishing college and working fulltime I went to the gym and really kept my self up. I have a girlfriend overseas and she is very young so am i. i am at the point of break where i don't enjoy this anymore. i used to take long distance relationships seriously but as i grew older i realized that they weren't that meaningful to me. but it seems like she is taking it very seriously, and i don't know what to do. i feel like i should take my chances with the girls i can see easily instead of waiting 6 months before i see my girlfriend. please can anyone help me out to deal with that. i need some advice.
