I havent been in a serious relationship in over a year. I have been through alot as far as guys are concerned. Cheating, lying etc. So I guess I do have my guards up. When I meet a guy, I have lately been pulling away because I feel that all they are interested in is sex and not getting to know me. I have a low tolerance for bullshyt so I try to stop it before it gets started by not calling all the time. Also, I dont like when a guy calls me 24/7 or alot during the day. I am fine with not being around a guy alot too. I just find that lately I need my space. I kind of miss having a constant companion. How do I see past my previous experiences and open myself up topossibly meeting someone new. I have some serious issues with my body. I would be what a guy would call curvaceous or phat. but I hate when a guy comments on it. It almost makes me sick to my stomachbecause I think they just see me as a sex object. I know some women would take it as a compliment but it disgusts me. I need help!

It seems like every man I meet (these are men in their 40's and 50's, not 20-somethings, wants to have fun without any committment. If a woman mentions marriage or committment she is considered moving too fast but it is perfectly acceptable for a man to expect sex within a few dates. I have learned from experience that having sex early in a relationship doesn't get you anywhere. I want to have a good sex life but demand a committment and marriage first. I have tried the other and it hasn't worked. Guys today want a woman to make a lot of money, have a lot of friends, and need her own space, etc. so they don't have to "take care" of her. They want the benefits of a husband without the responsibilities. I don't care if this is the modern age, I am a truly independent woman in the sense that I hold on to traditional values no matter what the modern career woman says. I find it difficult to not be able to ask a guy important questions cause I may seem to be moving too fast

About 2 years ago, I found some clues that another woman was in my husband's life. He will not tell me what they did or if they actually did the "deed." He says we should move on and not talk about it. He feels that it is not good for me to know everything, because of the hurt it causes me when we talk about things. The pressure was really wreaking havoc on our relationship and now we are separated. I know that I am not over it because of the crying spells or anger that I feel at times. DID HE or DIDN'T HE???? I feel that he should be a man and spill, especially if he wants to move on. Should I just let him go? I can't get over it!!!!

I've been talking to this guy for a while now, a month maybe. He's always been kinda flirty, and I've flirted back. Now we've been hanging out most every day. He'll call me sweetheart, Babe, and such, And when he's tipsy/drunk he'll be romantic in that he'll put his arm around me and kiss my cheek before I drive home. But then He'll go to treating me like one of the guys the next day!
