For personality, I look to see if he's faithful, respectful, considerate, passionate, caring, romantic, patient, calm and accepts me for who I am.

He has to be employed and educated and I say this because it shows how much he cares about his future, his work ethics and goals in life. Also, I don't want someone who's so caught up in his own life and too self absorbed that he won't have time for me. And I like guys who cook and help around the house. Laziness is a turn off.

I'm not too particular about apperance however I'm not into those really baggy pants that sag really low, or guys who wear big flashy jewelry..Those are definitely a turn off. And of course I would prefer someone who's healthy.

That's pretty much all I can think of for now.

First I think that physically everyone has different preferences....I know I prefer tall men with slender to average build, dark hair and blue eyes. Socially I think overall women want a guy to be nice to others, with some manners(holding doors, pulling out a chair for us), and be interested in the woman he is with. Try not to talk about any ex-gf. Approach with confidence it will say more than what you words may be. A smile always catchs my eye fastest and compliments work well too. As far as what matters most personality or physical attraction......it all depends on whether you want a relationship or a one night stand. Relationships require compatability so personality matters most in the long run.

All a man has to do to get and keep a woman is be honest and love her even when she isn't very loveable. Generally, looks are the first thing a woman notices but if he has a crappy attitude to go with those looks a majority of the time she dont hang around. Important features of any man should be honesty, faithfullness, hard working, and very very loveable & fun

I think a sense of humor and being able to laugh at himself is very important. For physical... a nice tight round butt. No secretary spread on a guy. Broad Shoulders are always a plus too...but the butt usually does it for me.

For me Its Honesty .. Don't be someone elts Be yourself .
If your not being yourself You will not last long , you will not be happy with the girl who is not loving you, but what you let her see . Although a good looking tight butted dude is nice to look at , A smart, friendly, good humored, slightly overweight , man will win out all the time

A grown up. Is capable of caring about and meeting the needs of someone beside himself (not just meeting the needs so that he gets his own needs met, but actually being satisfied with seeing someone else get what they want); is interested in something besides himself and sports, TV, computers - history, religion (without being religious necessarily), art. Shares interests with me.

I can't speak for every female, but I can tell u about me...

First of all, a man's eyes and his arms (don't ask) are usually the first thing I look at...I love the eyes, though...

I want a man to approach me with confidence enough to approach me, but not too much, where he seems arrogent. I want him to approach me sweetly and respectfully, yet honestly.

Once we begin to socialize, I look for how he reacts towards me...when he asks me questions, does he listen to my answers, or does he cut me off in midsentence (that PISSES me off!)? Is he really concerned about me, or is he just tryin' to get into my pants???

But keep in mind, every woman is different...

he cant be a slob, look decent, have a great personality, and he has to be a gentlemen, all around nice guy. and I like some one who can make me laugh. everyone says that but its true. that way there's no weird silence, and it makes it less uncomfortable between each other and it usually starts a conversation which is good.

For me, the honesty, loyalty and such do count, but I look for the small things in life. And if a guy doesn't meet those little things, then I wont settle for him. :) It all depends on the person.

Same beliefs and values as I have, honest, trustworthy, hard-working, sense of humor. I don't care what he looks like as long as he is healthy.
