Depends on if he or I did the breaking up, how much I was into the relationship, and the circumstances behind the breakup. Normally I'm ready to date again within a week after being dumped. There have been a couple exceptions where it took nearly a month before I was ready to date again. Now if I was the dumper I'm ready to go look for another guy within the hour.

Okay I was with my ex husband for 7 years, took me about 6 months to get over it and date someone else. When I was in high school, I dated a guy for about a year and a half, took about 9 months to get over it and date someone else.

Jeez! I am sick of these teenage "does he like me" "what do I do" questions.
It is a TEMPORARY little relationship and will be meaningless when you look back on it later in life (stupid even). Get over yourself and your insecurities. All you little teenagers are afraid of each other and care WAY TOO MUCH about WHAT OTHER PEOPLE think about you. When you are a real grown-up, you care less and have REAL relationships.

Dated her for 5 years, after we broke up, I met these twin girls, now I date them both, they both are happy with our relationship.

id go right away cause the ex will haunt you. you need to find a new person in your life to get rid of the old memories. my ex and i dated for 4.5 months, before i caught her sleeping with my brother.just so you know.

wen u get ur courage back to get back out there their is a lot of fish in the sea so dont worry some1 will be perfect and then if that never happens just follow ur heart
