won't all the carbon dioxide eventually go away and the environment will return to normal? It could work, and it looks like countries might start working together and is looking good.

Shouldn't we be taking advantage of still having Oil. Using it wisely. Not wasting it?

Why are we wasting a rapidly deminishing resource; crude oil, that could make preparations for life without it easier/possible?

For example: When you have flown to Barbados, and are sitting on the beach, look at your children and imagine that their children might well be working the fields by hand, just in order to feed themselves.

How do we intend to grow food without diesal oil?

What kind of landscape could we produce food in without diesal?

Whatever solution you come up with will it require diesal to set it up?

Let's not leave it too late. How do we start acting now?

Please use the same unit each time so convert to Kws.

How much energy does it take to plow, harrow, drill, seed, fertilize, combine?

How much energy does it require to get it from the field to the factory?

How much energy does the factory consume?

How much energy is used transporting it to refueling stations?.

Would there be any of it left?

You need the tractor approx 500 horse power, to plow the field to grow the crop. So if you run the tractor on biodeisal to plant biodeisal crops or food then the fuel it takes to produce the crops will be largely used up to run the tractor?

So how much biodiesal crop would be actually left to make into further fuel or food?

What are other solutions?

Taking GW out of the issue completely and looking at sustainability the oil will run out at some time. What are we going to do?

Transport - Are we going to have nuclear power producing electricity for trucks?
Food production - A big tractor is 500 horse power approx. What would we run combine harvesters, tractors, balers ect on?
Defence - airplanes, tanks, moving troops around?
Rail/Canal etc.

1. We need to look after the environment and people that deny global warming are morons. How could sending millions of tons of pollution into the atmosphere not cause massive problems? We should leave a beautiful Earth to our children, not a destroyed wreck.

2. George Bush is a modern day Hitler. How many babies have to die so that greedy man can get his hands on more oil.

Stars mean you agree with my points.

What steps to make my family, school and community more environmentally friendly? Please tell me at least 5 steps for each one. Also, I can you make a comparison for picking up a piece of litter. A piece of litter may be small, but it adds up, and when it does, it's really big. What can you compare it too?

Hey, I have a Sport Berkey and I'm not quite sure about maintenance and cleaning. The official brochure doesn't give much information. What do you do about the straw tip? I know that'll get gross after a while. Does the inside of the container ever get "slimy"? How long can I leave it filled up with water just sitting in it? Will the plastic from the container ever leach into the water and if it does can that get filtered out too?
