You need both. If you think we could maintain the present high level of health care without oil, then you are being unrealistic. Oil (and coal) based power are absolutely critical to all modern technology, including health care. You need electric power for refrigerators, X-ray machines, lights in hospitals and so on. You need oil for ambulances, deliver trucks and cars to take people to the doctor and deliver supplies.
