Mom always yelled, "shut that fridge door, what are you trying to do? Cool down the whole damm neighborhood??" when we stood staring into the fridge. What if everyone in the world left their fridge doors open. It would cool down everything outside. Is this a viable option to the global warming trend?

With all of the research and the science that proves the existance of global warming, why and how do people continue to say its a lie. Who is perpetuating this "lie" and for what purpose?

Do we really need to go faster (more fuel used), drive bigger cars/vans/SUVs (especially since no one has a large-3 to 5 kids-family much anymore), and lush, green lawns (chemicals ugh). Instead of a green lawn, why not have drought-type plants, bushes, and flowers? Maybe a little green that you can push mow and burn some calories at the same time.

What are your views?

Since it takes less raw materials to make a miniskirt, shouldn't its wear be encouraged over that of full length skirts? :)
How about speedos over swimming trunks?

TO GIVE YOU AN IDEA:

put a grape seed in front of your car...

Imagine the seed is a cathedral in size... like 200-400ft high.
Your car by its size represents the quantity of fossil carbon used by the mankind in combustion since the beginning.

Now multiply the volume of the car by around 2400 and you have the volume of CO2 added in the atmosphere.

And of course I guess it has nothing to do with global warming...

And if they could guarantee the batteries life longer? I am not a huge 'green' person, but i would have no objection to purchasing one of these vehicles if the silhouette didn't remind me of the neighbors dog in the middle of defocating on my lawn.

My question, is the idea of global warming due to us? or was it going to happen either way and we just sped up the process?

The earth has already gone through climate shifts before, why couldnt there be another one?

I will not lie i dont know much on this subject but i am willing to learn if someone could help me out.

Thanx nikki

I have read surveys that say up to 20% of adults have atleast some degree of incontinence. For the more severe cases, how many people use cloth diapers instead of disposables? And, did you even know that they made cloth diapers for adults?

I mean seriously it seems like it is all a con to just get MORE tax money out of us.
And temprature variations aren't unusal and we don't know everything about them. The world has been here for billions of years and we have only been here for a very small fraction of that, it is impossible for us to truly understand it already. no matter how advanced methods become.
PLUS!!!:Hundreds probably even thosands of scientist really don't agree with the concept of global warming. But many of them won't or can't speak out against it because they are threatened will being fired from their job, or being killed. man, what the left wing will do to keep their theory.
Because thats all that global warming is, a theory. And a disproven one at that.

Does anyone here know what really happens to them, or was the clerk at my wallyworld right??

to recycle at home, reuse ...or
crochet shopping totes out of them, so that they can be used over and over again, we also are working on beach totes this year. dont worry about the looks people give you when you bring your own...be a trend setter..not a follower

I have heard good things about this alternative fuel but proponents say that it has no drawbacks. Is that just being overly passionate or is there something about it that I don't hear. Why is ethanol recieving all the attention as a great gasoline substitute. From the things I heard about ethanol it's much closer to gas than bio-diesel. Please set me straight.

So should you leave a light on (if say you are leaving it on for ten minutes) or turn it off. Which uses more electricity?
It is the age old question of 'to leave or not to leave, that is the question. Whether it is nobler in the socket to suffer the stings and arrows of electricity companies making an outrageous fortune, or take up arms against a sea of troubles, and by opposing them, turn off the light'.

How do you really know that it's removing your CO2 footprint, and not just something someone tells you to make you feel better? I mean they are talking about up to 150 tons of greenhouse gas. How do they even measure that?

I've looked at Terrapass (the ones from the Oscars) http://www.terrapass.com/index.html
