i've been trying to figure out the name of this song and the artists for as long as i can remember. its an oldie so i only hear it on the radio probably about once a year..... recently watching game 7 of the stanley cups finals this past year, i heard the song playing in the backround and i was begging for it to come on youtube so i can ask ppl. ..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q4SGkkl8NFo

its part of an interview, but u can hear the melody and the tune in the backround speaker. i bet if u know the song, u dont need to hear the lyrics, the melody gives it away

Why do some idiots think that listening to Rock is devil worshipping? Rock songs are the cleanest, unlike rnb/hip-hop that sing about banging b*tches, smoking weed, drugging up, etc etc (well THAT'S what I'd call devil worshipping). And have you ever seen their videos with girls just humping eachother just to get the guy's attention, THAT'S devil worshipping and not Rock. I know the rock singers have weird styles but so do the hip-hop singers trying hard to be gangsters. Gee, some moos need to get their facts right, they make me laugh. :-D ROCK ON!

Throughout its history, rock ’n’ roll has been derided as morally bankrupt, blamed for everything from the proliferation of drugs to the Columbine shootings. When it comes to social justice, though, rock has often led the way—it was on the vanguard of the peace and civil-rights movements, it raised money and awareness for the famine in Ethiopia, it helped American family farmers, and, to this day, its practitioners often look after one another when tragedy strikes the music community. In our July issue, we look at some of these artists—from Bono to Neil Young—who are trying to change the world. What is the role of the artist when it comes to making the world better? Should they just shut up and sing?

Being a fan of good old 1980s and 1990s hair rock, I still listen to bands like Extreme, etc. A friend of mine recently played me an MP3 of their song "Cupid's Dead," from the 3 Sides to Every Story album. But this version had a horn section. My question is, where did this horn remix come from (a single, perhaps?) and who did the arrangement?

Thanks!

Hello everyone, my music is a blend of rock and pop, really radio friendly. What record companies take demo cd's? I know that "the big ones" do not. Thanks again!

Please keep it "cool" or "truly" creepy,
not "lame" or "incomprehensible" creepy-ish.

I'm all up for some good reccomendations- so far I'm liking the music from overseas more than here in the US. ( HiM, Bullet for my Valentine, The Sounds, TurboNegro, The 69 Eyes...)

The past few cd's from artists that I love have disappointed me. Especially the new NIN cd.... Anybody else feel kinda let down on that one too? I'm hoping Trent isn't losing his touch...
And now Perfect Circle is no longer a band.. That pisses me off. But I'm looking forward to Pucifier.
Though the new Manson was pretty good....

What do you guys think?

Part of the chorus goes "...I'm workin' for that cash machine..." Sorry, that's all I can remember of the song. It's a rock song, by the way.
