i'm bored of the same old songs. i'm into like pop, rock, and surfer kind of songs. have any songs like that?

if you need an example, kind of like Rooney, Lily Allen and stuff...but i want other songs not with those artists.

I have been reading all these questions in Pop/Rock for the past half hour and I am COMPLETELY disgusted with the way the media has portrayed rock n roll to kids these days. I'm only 18 but damn! People still like real rock right? Name your top 5 METAL and PUNK Bands. Name as many as you can if you'd like. :)

Beatles. ect stuff like that

BUT I don't like My Chemical Romance or Fall Out Boy or stuff like that thanks. Classic Rock recommended but if you have and recent bands like that I'm open for suggestions

theres nothing good about the band. they hav e one song anywhere near even bearable, famous last words, but thats it. all their other songs are terrible. He cant sing worth sh*t. Do people think they are punk or something? and if u do, ur a dumb*ss, cuz theyre not. They might try to be punk or emo or whatever, but they are just f*gs. Why does anyone listen to such a terrible, sh*tty band?

I know that rap and hip hop are the in "Music" right now, but I know there are some really good bands. The record companies only seem to put out this "alternative" rock.
