theres nothing good about the band. they hav e one song anywhere near even bearable, famous last words, but thats it. all their other songs are terrible. He cant sing worth sh*t. Do people think they are punk or something? and if u do, ur a dumb*ss, cuz theyre not. They might try to be punk or emo or whatever, but they are just f*gs. Why does anyone listen to such a terrible, sh*tty band?

When are you kids gonna WAKE UP and realize that MCR suck harder than a seasoned Porn Star. They are a big FAD and will amount to NOTHING except going back to working at Jack In The Box once their 15 mins are up to clean up piss and pay for their whore like behavior in their youth. 30 year old men singing about break ups and failed relationships...honestly what twaddle!
Seriously all these stupid kiddie bands should all be fed alive to hungry grizzly bears or sharks! There is a video of theirs I will watch! When will this FAD be over....is there that much babysitting money being passed around that "depressed" teenage girls are going out and buying that crap! It's NOT a matter of taste. If you like that band you have NO taste! You cannot judge what is good and what is crap. Your internal judging system is all off kilter from watching too many crappy episodes of Viva La Bam (another money grabbing incubus let loose on the teenagers of the west to whore as much as he can from them while not actually having any given talent - fool!)

Personally, I'm neither here nor there on them. They're just sort of a band, I don't like them, but whatever, I don't like a lot of things.
The thing that bothered me about them is this: So I was going around, checking out them, Fall Out Boy, Panic!, 30 Seconds to Mars, etc. You know the usual suspects around here because I post here a lot and I wanted to have a valid opinion since everyone talks about them here. I was doing this through MySpace and I got to their page (note: these pages are supposed to be official fan pages) and they don't have songs on the page. They have 30 second clips of their songs. It as if it's a reference along the lines of allmusic.com or something like that. I mean, all you have to do is put up the radio tracks that are accessible anyway. Are you really going to be so tacky with your fans? None of the other bands did this, and in fact other bands went as far as to post demos, hard to find stuff, kind of a gift to the fans who would subscribe to it. I'm not expecting that (and in the cases that I saw it, it was more fringe bands like the Decemberists) but come on. You're telling me that you're so hard up for people to buy the record/scared of people finding the songs online where they don't have to pay that you can't even leave four songs up for people to check out at their convenience? It really bothered me. I heard their songs on a page that was a unofficial fan site, so I got the info I needed, but it was just so tacky. Completely reaffirmed the whole image of the modern artist who could care less about their fans. I'm not sure if it left me feeling they were arrogant or apathetic.
I'm not so naive to not know that it's a marketing group that controls it, but either way it's the image they're puting out. Completely ridiculous.

People like My Chemical Gaymance , because they will buy into any crap that mtv throws at them. These people don't have any musical taste of their own, and they like what people tell them to like. I don't understand why its "cool" to be emo. My question is when did someone decide that they would start a trend where you act, dress, and sing like a12-year-girl. There is only one band that can pull off the drag thing, and that the New York Dolls, they didn't do it to be cool they did it to scare the crap out of people.
P.s. Did anyone hear what they did to The Misfits Astro Zombies, I heard about 30 seconds of it, and the whole time it was like someone was raping my ear, I've never been so mad after listening to song in my life!!

Wow you like ESCAPE THE FATE? None of my friends even know who they are, which is stupid. My favorite song by them is "Not Good Enough For The Truth In Cliche". And why the hell are you asking why everyone with taste in good music likes MCR if you don't give a crap about what they think?!?!

everyone has a differnt taste in music, I dont really know why I like MCR, its something about there songs that i can connect with. Plus I think Gerard Ways voice is amazing.

no there isn't much good to mcr. I do hate how people call them punks, but they're far from it. they kiss the man's a.ss too much. they're very emo which means they're very s.hitty. like most people here have said, it's all in your tastes, but to all who listen to mcr, get a new favourite band.

Oh you are so right, so so so right...I agree 110%, they lack talent and originality, and they are just that sort of band who you just seem to hear, and they just won't go away and they're EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!!! I do usually agree with the fact that everyone has different tastes, HOWEVER, My Chemical Romance, ugh...They really are a disgrace, and if the bands that keep streaming out are all like them, (aaand fallout boy etc, etc...), the future of music is absolutely DOOMED!!!! Scary!!!
Oh, and wait for a while until you start getting the abuse from all the silly emos, oh it's hiarious...Happened me...I had a jolly good little laugh!!hahahaha

well u can think what you think but i luv MCR there one of my favs and i know sum ppl listen to them cause of the black parede but have you tryed sum of there older stuff its alittle more punk/rock/emo..... and just cause i like MCR doesnt mean i cant love underoath, 3 days grace, good charoltte, acdc, and things like that so ppl like what they like you have ur opinons and other ppl have theres so dont be a jack about this

I love how meaningful the songs are. When you first listen to it you dont get it but if you concentrate on the lyrics really hard you get the inner meaning. I don't think they are punk. I mean everyone does have theior own opinions kid, but don't call them fags. And i wouldn't say they are the most popular band because just about the whole world hates them. and i personally really like them. And i really don't think they are trying to be like marilyn manson. and people also like it because its on mtv alot (damn MTV) and theres those annoying little people that you hate saying "mcr punk rawk for lyf" which makes you hate the person and the band. Thats happedned to me alot. And also because alot of bands have tried copying their style. they still are somewhat unique but theres just those retard bands trying to capy them and failing at live. And i really like Gerard's voice personally. the end.
