Hello everyone, my music is a blend of rock and pop, really radio friendly. What record companies take demo cd's? I know that "the big ones" do not. Thanks again!

None. Any legit record label has a "No unsolicited material" policy. If you send it to any label, it'll get tossed in the garbage.

If you're as radio friendly as you think you are, get your stuff played on a local radio show.

Otherwise, get yourself out there. Play any gig you can get booked for. It's all about right-place, right-time.

You can mail any record company your CD but it will end up in the trash .
They will not listen to any unsolicited material .
Try putting your music on myspace along with a short bio about yourself .
The days of being discovered by a record company and getting played on the radio is over .
It takes millons of dollars to promote records.
Plus the record industry is crumbling because the greedy bastards was too slow to adapt to technology .

A lot of small, independent record labels still accept demos (cds/tapes/records). If you're interested in a certain label, look on their website for info about submitting demos.

Pretty much all of them. You can go on the different companies websites and find a mailing address for them. Oh yeah, you have a better chance if you send your demo in a package, with a pic of you or your group, and a SHORT letter telling a little about yourselves
