Rap and Hip-Hop

I only catch the end of it everytime I hear it. It's a really fast beat song all I can hear him saying is "make it rain and five on a dollar or five hundred dollars"

I def know it's not that song by Lil Wayne, its not a traditional rap song to me.

I also heard that lil wayne and the dipset have teamed up and just decided to take on jayz, 50 cent, clipse, and pharell. Is it true and whats the story behind cash money records and why everyone just left baby and lil wayne? ALSO did any yall see that video with dipset and junior mafia fighting?

No disrespect.
I'm from Chicago. And I love it all. Matter of fact, Lil Wayne is at the top of the lyrical chain right now.
BUT I just can't get into the mind numbingly slow screwed up mixes. I can't listen to it.
So can the people who like it explain the appeal?
This is an honest question.
Do you need to be high or on the purple sprite?

I KNOW. that Outkast is the greatest rap group of all time. Been together forever. No media fights with each other. They got love for each other, been together for over 15 years. Got plenty of Classic Albums. Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik was the one of the GREATEST ALBUMS OF ALL TIME. ATLiens was Classic, Aquemini was Classic, Stankonia was Great, Speakerboxxx/ The Love Below was Great. Some of y'all got on Andre on that album saying he lost it. Ain't nothing wrong with Dre 3000. To me they are the ones who brought out the SOUTH. They sold more records than any rap group in history, had better albums all together. Yeah you got your Wu-Tang, Eric B and Rakim, Geto Boys, UGK, 8Ball and MJG, 36, EPMD, Tribe Called Quest, GangStarr, NWA, The Roots, Little Brother, Red and Meth, Run DMC, Salt and Pepa, and all. But Outkast is the GREATEST RAP GROUP of all time.

Is Lupe Fiasco the Savior of Hip Hop? His debut album 'Food and Liquor' was great, he modeled it after Nas' 'It Was Written' (arguably one of the greatest hip-hop albums ever made)..He has great flow, great lyrical ability..and for all you hip-hop heads out there, doesnt he remind you almost of a young Nas?
