or if not sound the same sounds very much so unoriginal. it seems like for the last 5 years or more the rap and hiphop scene in the mainstream is just out their to make money. nothing is that great, its been awhile since i've heard a song on the radio or tv that made me stop and say "that **** was dope". its all just so so with a dance club beat. but im into music thats got some meat on its bone ya know, something that i can listen to over and over again and still be like dawm those lyrics and that beat are fresh. not for a long time has that happend in the mainstream scene.

Today, Emily a contestant on the British series of Big Brother was evicted for using the term "n******" which was deemed a racist term. However, in a report on the eviction, the presenter on BBC News noted that the word appears in rap songs as a term of empowerment. What is the term in that case? Offensive to members of the black community, or a term of empowerment?

(This is a bit long so bear w/ me). I'm a recent high school graduate and even when I went to high school, by the end of my senior year all the freshmen (in the "ghetto"/gangster-wannabe cliques) that were coming in were starting more fights than ever. In my neighborhood I see kids sporting do-rags, and while it's one thing to like the urban style/rap music, it's another when you see eight, nine year olds cursing and fighting with each other almost every other day. It seems so many kids, whether they are white, black, hispanic, asian, etc, are becoming more and more interested in wanting to be and act ghetto to the point where it's difficult just to go out and enjoy a movie without those types screaming, laughing and getting into peoples' faces. I don't have anything against rap music, because there is some good hip-hop/rap music out there, but these days with artists like 50 Cent and Eminem the younger generation is misinterpreting the music and acting on what they see and hear.

any body heard a song thats been remixed to a rapper.

its goes sumthing like.....

your the petals on my rose
without you buying anything
you're the laces on my shoes as i walk through my destiny
sumthing sumthing
that i was walking with all along
it was right above my soul just by my feet as i recall
fallingfor you was like a .... from the sky
if i was to hit the ground my love would multiply
never mind the other guys that put scars on your'e heart
your'e past can never compare to what can tear us apart
it's like cutting a stone with you're 2 hands
or like buying a car with only food stamps
it could never happen i'm new to seperation
i don't say it coz i'm blind
coz i see sumthing dedication
my feeling will show and grow when i see you some more
and everytime i hear your voice i wanna be there fo you
thats the truth i plead guilty in love
i swear i have never felt this way till our lips touched

then it has the these are the times chourus
any one know song?
