Why Do People Hate Eminem?

like everyone i know over 18 hates eminem, and a ton of kids hate him too, i like him cause he is deep, writes about real stuff and aint afraid to speak his mind

He USED to be deep. When he first came out. Listen to his older albums and compare them to later ones. In the later ones all he's doing is complaining about his own life. He was great in the beginning. There are a lot of people who aren't afraid to speak their minds. Tupac had and still has staying power...Eminem doesn't.
I liked Em before he became a crybaby. And yes I'm over 18 so I remember.

Hate? That's ambiguous. They dislike for a reason. This 'hater' thing is over used and often spat out to lie to one self. Here is example:

"Oh, she don't like me, she just a hater then"- Eminem (gist)

Yes. I don't like Eminem or the STANs. His cliched subject matter and shock factor are childish and annoying after 3 songs. But, don't get me started ;) BQ: Ummmm... on GOAT list, maybe around 25 because he's got technical skills. As far as favorites? Very low. BQ2: Oh gosh... Something by Kero One, for sure. I dont hate eminem even tho im black. But i cant stand Fat Joe or Paul Wall. as for eminem, his songs are hilarious and his music videos are even funnier. The other thing i like about him is that his lyrics are totally different from everybody else. Hes not the stereotypical sex, guns, money type of rapper that almost every other rapper is. He is very creative and he raps about important things. The only problem with him (besides his annoying nasally voice) is that a lot of his songs are repetitive. He raps about his mom, his wife and his children every other song. Also, when he's not rapping about them, he's dissing Michael Jackson. So his first 3 albums were great and original, but after that they started getting repetitive. But then again, I guess evry rapper duz that. Eminem is very talented and he really deserves more respect

I actually like some of his music. I'm 30 btw.

The only problem with his music, are the half-brained nit-wits that follow him, because they themselves, have no identity.

As for Eminem's music. It's not bad.

this isnt a race issue...i know plenty of african americans (including myself) who like eminem..and i know plenty of white people who dont like eminem..I like him because he's like tupac..he's able to take stories/events from his own life and put it into music that others can relate to..I think he may be hated by some people simply because he is misunderstood

well.....some people agree that eminem sucks, its there choice its maybe he dosent rap good, he music videos suck..... that's OK.....but what really hits me is people saying that he is white and white people cant rap , that's racist. you should watch the white rappers show (they have to switch there name) you can find spectacular rappers. take collie buddz as a example he does reggae and sounds like a black guy but people say he sucks because he is white same thing goes for DJ khaled. PEOPLE SHOULD BE TREATED EQUALLY!!!

Its somewhat due to the fact that he is a white and raps. if you see the other rappers out there, they are not much hated. its a complicated thing. i do like eminem by the way. he's way better than the others out there.
