Underrated- Common, Black Thought, The Beatnuts (both of them!), M.O.P (both of them but Fame especially), Talib Kweli, Ghostface
Overrated- MIMS (how could you not agree?), T.I., Fat Joe (used to put him in the other category, but his last 4 albums have been wa*k), Redman (slightly controversial choice but his last couple of albums don't deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as Whut thee Album!)

Common, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, The Roots, Black Thought, and parts of Wu.
Overrated:
Lil Wayne, Lil Kim, Trina, Lil Flip, Yung Jock, Yung Onez, 3-6 Mafia, Young Jeezy, and 90% of mainstream rappers. It's so bad that I can't even tell the difference between them. Nothing but beats and hooks.

I think the worst person who thinks he can rap is Kevin Federline. He's been trying to make a good record for ages. I think it's about time he gave up and went for some different career.
