I like a lot of east coast rap like Wu-tang, Jay Z, Nas, Mobb Deep, Nature, Common, Redman, Boot Camp Click and AZ. I also like Eminem, D12, Xzibit, 8 ball & MJG and DJ Quik. I am intrested to find some Christian rappers that are comparable to any of these.

Eminem (controversial decision but eminem has survived the stain of time and sold, hes obviously better than jay-z, but i had to decide, em or Nas, both are good and still are good though both fell off. Jay-z became more of a pop artist since he has been with beyonce, eminem still put out emotional and good records, nas, made you look and hip hop is dead were good records).

In my opinion eminem is the best rapper/MC/ hip hop artist alive.

Sh** truthfully I am asking to see what yall like. Here's mine . . .
1. TuPac - Obvious choice, his CD's were incredible. I could bang his CDs from beginning to end (for the most part). His music was INFLUENTIAL (damn I miss that kind of music).
2. Eminem - hah I know I will get a lot of criticism for this but got damn listen to this man's lyrics and the way he rhymes. I know he tweaked and made some bad songs (like go crazy), but overall he puts it down.
3.Jay-Z - I wasn't too crazy about him until the Black Album. Reasonable Doubt was a classic; The Blueprint was pretty good; Roc La Fam was aiiight;
4. Biggie - Overrated, but he could definitely lay it down.
5. Twista - haha I'm from Chicago I can't help it. Listen to his tracks before he became "popular"

Who do you think would win in a rap battle im going to have to go with Nas I mean come on Lil Wayne sounds like a drugged up dying old man and all he raps about are money and making love to prostitutes and Lil Wayne fans before you say anything about me trying to listen to him freestyle well I have seen just about all of dem and I still think Nas is better. Because Nas actually raps with feeling and with a purpose and he comes up with amazing lyrics that just makes you want to think its amazing in my opinion hes the greatest rapper of all time.

or if there is anyone else you think is better than this short list here that you can think of. My vote though for best rap artist of all time is 2pac. best lyricist, best all around energy, best beats, just think if he was still alive today i mean this guy was amazing. For best rapper right now, I have to go with The Game. same thing great lyricist, great energy on the mic and on stage, his hatred for g-unot has just got to make you want more. The guy right now has to be the hottest thing in the rap game. But what are your thoughts?
