2pac becouse he passed away to early. he wasnt done
lyricly he would murder ever rapper alive right now and he had the credibility no one jay z, nas ja rule t.i ludacris no one will be better then him he is a rap god he lived what he said
now and day every rapper is saying the samething that 40 other artists a saying thats why hip hop is diying or dead
becouse we keep talkin about rims, paint and jewelry.
play every cd that 2pac made and it still passes and beats everyone cd thats out right now hip hop was made as a way of rebelion we as people had control of it at one point now its someone else we cant say what we want becouse of fear that we will not get another chance.
if 2pac was still alive he would be doin something big maybe political? who know but HE IS THE BEST OF ALL TIME
"2pacs like that relationship we had when we were 18 and new it could have been more but cut it off"

If we're talking about "artists"(rappers/producers/djs), by far it's Dr. Dre. Nobody is more successful in the history of hip-hop music. Look at his track record as a rapper/producer
Straight Outta Compton
Efil4Zaggin
The Chronic
Doggystyle
Slim Shady LP
Marshall Mathers LP
Get Rich Or Die Tryin'
The Documentary
not to mention countless R&B and rap songs he produced including "California Love", "Natural Born Killaz", "Let's Play House", and so many others.
As far as rapper it's Ice Cube, nobody as an rapper has more classic albums
Straight Outta Compton
Kill At Will
Amerikkkas Most Wanted
Death Certificate
The Predator
Westside Connection
not to mention the countless guest spots he made on other records. He's the GOAT as far as rappers go

I'll have to go old school and say LL Cool J because I'm sure you're a young dude and didn't grow up in the 80s but there are a bunch of infuential rappers who came out those years like the Beastie Boys, Run DMC, GrandMaster Flash, and so on. But as far as the new school I'll have to say it's a close race between Notorious BIG, NAS, JAY-Z, 2pac, and Eminem.

I agree with you that 2pac is the best all time rapper. Im not sure about any of the other rappers from your list as being the best rappers for right now. I usually like to listen to Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy, Lil Boosie, etc. I do like TI and The Game though. Im not too big on Ja Rule and Eminem.

Y'all don't know much about the rap game....Ja Rule? The Game? Are you kidding me? Check the history. I can name 50 lyricists better than Game and Ja Rule's sorry asses.....
Greatest lyricist of all time is easily the god, Rakim. Go buy the album Paid in Full and tell me that it is not a gem. Chuck D, KRS-ONE, Kane, can all be added to that list.

One Be Lo, doesn't have the impact or influence or popularity some of those guys have, but every album he has touched has been an undeniable classic, and he has the most creative metaphors I've ever heard, not to mention killer flow, unreal rhymes, and great subject matter. He even made a song where he personified the emotions inside him (like jealousy and happiness) and made a storytelling track out of it.

Best all around Hip Hop Artist is Ice Cube. He's lyrically as gifted as 2Pac and has just as much range, but started way before 2PAC, that gives him the nod, longevity.
Best lyricist - KRS-One.
