You are retarded. Now, don't think I say this because I hate all women. No, but I still don't give a **** about you. Now let me explain. Listen to Make U Fly by Zion I and the Grouch and try and say what you said. You don't hear most rap, because most rap below the surface has a positive message and even some rap above ground (like Common). What does this tell us? Hmmm, maybe the rappers aren't the problem. Maybe it's the fact that people will buy the demeaning rap and shun the meaningful rap. Maybe all the **** you hear on the radio is a product of society only wanting to hear rappers be negative, rather than the rappers actually being negative. Besides, there are a lot of rappers that see other rappers getting rich off negative messages and then send negative messages themselves, even if that's not what they believe. So, in essence, that is why I could give a **** about your faulty, stubborn beliefs.

There is no music genre that comes close to Hip-Hop/Rap. Its poetry, mixed with a beat that make u move, The problem with rap especially now is its all about money, its all commercial, no poetry and the beats are all garbage( clapping, snapping...ya thats right every peice of music for "the A" ) but back in the day of pac, biggie it was great, and guys like Slick Rick with the uncanny ability to tell a story, Hip-Hop was THE ****!

Honestly, I love hip-hop, but I'm not that into rap. Most people don't know that they are different genres even though they are very similar. Rap focuses on money, women, cars, and other stuff like that. It's okay, but after awhile everyone sounds the same. Hip-Hop is brilliant, it focuses on the real things people go through. I suggest Lupe Fiasco, Mos Def, The Roots, A Tribe Called Quest, Nas, Common, and Talib Kweli if you want to hear real hip-hop.

I love rap and I come from a country town in PA. I have no reason to like hip-hop/rap, but I started watchin BET back in the day and I fell in love with it. I'm not a fan of the bang-bang shoot'em up rap, but it does have meaning. Rap music is like a sad movie, most of the guys came from rags to riches. Malcolm-X once said "Everything in life is a hustle". Some people are good at teaching, others at leading the military, some are only good at parenting, nonetheless everyone has a hustle and one skill they excel it. Rap music may not be appealing to everyone, but if you've never tried to rap you will never understand how hard it is. And if you don't understand what they're rapping about, then you haven't lived a life like them. They rap about what they think is true and what not just like how a president leads a country depending on his views, it just so happens that most rappers don't come up in the same background as presidents, so they have different dreams and feelings and express them differently.

i like rap but i do hate it when a guy wants to call a women out of her name. Rap now theses days are a joke u got them talking about this and that female and stuff. If you take a look back at the old rap days they spoke the truth. About there life style and what goes on. But now its all about the money and girls walk right in it and dont care if they get called this and that

Most people hate Rap, because of some of the lyrics, but all MCs are not disrespectful to women and don't always rap about drugs and murder. The radio is terrible. Bet & MTV are terrible for Rap music. The real music never gets exposure like the bad does. It is very unfortunate and I hate it, because Rap music has a lot to offer, you just have to know who to listen to.

Songs that get radio play are garbage. It's basically pop music. Not Rap.

Try listen to some real rap artists like Lupe Fiasco, Tupac and Nas.

Yes.. most rappers talk about about h**s, cars, money, grills, jewerly... But the reason I think they talk like that is probably how we present ourselves. We got teenager girls will short mini skirts where you can see up their ***, shirts that leave nothing to the imagination. Everyone always complain about that to the rappers but they don't realise their the reason they do that...

Have you ever noticed how rappers talk about the girls who call and act like sl*ts, b****es, and h*s in their songs? They're not talking about all women. And its not their fault that people seem to take what they say to the extreme and try to copy.

I mean c'mon.
