Any cool facts you can give me about him would be fantastic. If you included where you got it from so it's not just you makin stuff up for points, then that'd be even MORE fantastic.

My friend and I were asked to sing at a showcase. We were hoping to sing a duet from an opera. We are fans of Mozart especially, but we would really like something comedic and light, that still shows off our voices, which are very operatic.
He is a lyric tenor, I believe he is most comfortable below and A or so. I am a light lyric coloratura, and I feel most comfortable above an A. (haha, a bit of fach humor there.)

Any suggestions would be appreciated. We're really open to anything and we're hoping to have a great time singing together to find something.

Is there a perticular violin bow that is better than others. I am asking because the bow that came with my violin has a gap of hair missing. Should I just get the hairs replaced or should I buy a new bow?

Thanks.

Meaning: When singing a sacred piece (any sacred piece), they are so bent on the technicality of it, they forget the real meaning of the piece (and the composer's intention) is to glorify God.

It makes me sad when this happens.

When we become so focused on the music itself, we forget its true purpose

I'm not actually sure if its from Copland (but I'm positive its an American composer). But I've been wanting to know the title for months...It's a slow paced song with cowbells, perhaps. It reminds me of a cow walking slowly if that helps...

I figured out the general melody on my piano. It goes, C F F F, C A C, F F F, CAC, GGG, GFGA, AGF. I'm not sure if it's the right key.

I don't know if this is enough details...I'll try to answer any questions.

I need to do a poster for a class, and my topic is Drugs, Insanity, and La Symphonie Fantastique, composed by Hector Berlioz. I need as much information as I can about this piece of music.

I would like to know what the music is about, and what happens in the music...

What drugs are involved in this piece of music, what part do they play, if Berlioz was on drugs when he wrote this...

And what Insanity has to do with this piece.

I need enough information to make a poster - help!
