im tryin to find online some audio clips of how elctronic drumming sounds like. Perferrably some nicer higer end models like the DTEXTREME2 but i guess ay COULD do just to get the jist of it thanks in advance!

I recently learned how to play the electric guitar, and my favorite bands are Metallica, Pantera, Megadeth, Anthrax...
and I want to buy a guitar that has that kind of sound, since I don't know much about guitars yet, do you have any reccomendations?

By, the way I'm in a $500 - $800 budget for my graduation gift. but maybe in the near future I'll get one of those really expensive Gibsons, like that Les Paul, I don't know.

I'm currently starting a DJ service, and need to complete my classic rock section with AC/DC. Now the problem is there are 100s of AC/DC albums, and I am looking for the most bang for my buck. Obviously, there are songs that people will not request, But I'm looking for the best combination of cds to add to my collection. (They could make it easier by being able to buy the songs individually on napster or itunes etc. but of course it never works out that way).

I've been looking for this song for 15 years, and I fianlly found an old 70's vinyl. It's the smaller kind if that makes a difference. The song is Andre Marie Tela's "Je vais a Yaounde". Anyway I have no way to play it, and instead of buying a vinyl record player, I'd rather have a digital copy or on CD, which is actually legal, if you have the original. Anyway is there anywhere I can go, like the Musical Version of Office Max? I live in San Francisco,CA.

I'm making a few songs. One is sort of a love song. I would compare it closest to the song "Hailie's Song" by Eminem. I'm also making a few Clubbin' songs. My main is called Richter Scale. Any lines you can come up with would be appreciated! ANY LINES YOU CAN THINK OF! Doesn't matter if it fits the above criteria. Jus' as long as it's rap. And isn't already used in a copyrighted song, of course.

ok i did the talent show last year with my best friend, now its three of us, we did hsm then people were wise enough to come to my bff and say ya'll were crappy(meanies) so no disnet stuff this time but we just need a song appropriate enough 4 4th and 5th grade, no cuss word but we act like teenagers, well be listing to fergie, but cant do tat cuz of thecussing

i've seen a lot of questions like, who's better, john lennon or paul mccartney?...
i say, why the comparation, john lennon was great, maybe one of the top 5 best songwriters ever... but, does that means paul is not good?? i dont think so, he is great, he has a great career, that show us he is great... its also not true that paul has a better voice... can you imagine paul singing jealous guy, or imagine?? do you think it'll sounds good?? i don't.
the have a different style, even though i like much better john lennon doesnt mean he is way a better musician than paul...

I would like to know your opinion.

i need
- historical,cultural,social or moral influences that might have influenced the creation of the song
- theme
- its analysis and meanings. also figurative languages(metaphor,similie, etc.)
- explaination of rhyme scheme
- how well do the words fit the music.
- what is it about the music itself that enhances the lyrics?
- is it a unique departure or is it representative example of the artist's work as a whole?

What do you classify as great tone...guitarwise anyway.

I would say that a marshall jcm900 being played with a gibson les paul with hot wound P90s is great tone.

so i'm trying out for flags this year..
but since i live in a small town..
I have to play an instrument.
but i don't already know one!

so i have less than 2 weeks to learn one...i really would prefer not playing mouth instruments like trumpet n stuff...

i was thinking of bells, but i dunno if its possible to play well in 2 weeks!

advice?

Hi,

I write jazz for enjoyment. I'm thinking of trying to sell what I write. The only way I know of right now is to rent studio time, hire musicians, and then put together a demo CD, and I'll probably spent at least $2-5000 once I've hired people to play, and paid the studio. I don't have money to do that kind of thing right now, and I'm not sure that will be that successful. I can put lead sheets, etc together also. I don't know if there's another way than doing a CD or not. And if I do a CD, I'm not quite sure how to market it also. It's a little confusing right now.
