I mean, look at rap. It takes very little talent, and it's popular. I'm not saying it sucks, but it's not that hard. And mainstream rock. Anyone can sing, and play chords on the guitar. But METAL is where all the real talent is. The guitar riffs are complicated, even to the point where some people don't even consider it music anymore. I mean, look at George Fisher from Cannibal Corpse. You don't see talent like that every day. If you say he has no talent, go sing Severed Head Stoning, then tell me he's talentless. Another talented vocalist is Johnny Davy from Job For A Cowboy. And you don't see a bass player like Alex Webster (Cannibal Corpse) very often. He can fingerpick at extremely fast speeds. Or a guitar player like Ralph Santolla (Deicide). His solos are simply amazing. You can condemn metal all you want. It'll just show how closed-minded you are. And no, open-minded doesn't mean liking crap. It means being accept things.
