I ask someone if they've heard of Metallica and, sure, who hasn't. However, if I ask someone about Pantera or Slayer, both very prominent metal bands (yes I know Pantera isn't a band anymore) and they usually have no clue as to what I'm talking about. I fully understand why stuff like Cannibal Corpse (badass btw) is unpopular, but heavy metal still has a lot of talent that is largely unheard. And please don't try and convince me that Linkin Park is heavy metal and I don't want to hear about Slipknuts either.

I raise the question after watching too much youtube where the man is glorified, patronized, and disrespected. It seems as if we glorify and make fun of what we don't understand. I want to set it all straight--the man suffered from schizophrenia, exacerbated by LSD. He suffered greatly from this I believe and we don't need to be disrespecting him by making a spectacle of him when all he wanted was privacy. RIP Syd...

I am looking for a song title and the name of the artist that were popular in the early 80s. It had waltz pop tune, I believe was an old song made it into a pop music....I remember on MTV, he is well dressed in black suite, and had 4? woman dancing around with him on some kind of stage.....sorry that is all I can remember. If you can hit the song for me, you are really educated in pop music world I must say. Please help me out~!

It sound hardly nothing like their other albums and has a pop punk rock sound that I enjoy endlessly.I do like some of Shout, but every song on this album is pure bliss that comes around every so often in the sea of boring, contrived, overly polished Glam Rock that soon followed.Anybody else in love with this Just PURE FUN! CD.

I'm making a slideshow of photos from my school's production of High School Musical for the cast party this weekend. :)

I don't want to use songs from the musical, so what are some other suggestions for songs about teamwork, and other good things?

I want the song to make everyone feel like such a family because of this production.

Since it's realese in October of 2006 and March 2007, the album sold 1.7 million copies in the US. And 4 million world wide. now i know that is not nearly as many copies as their Fallen album. but is it still considered a success? a flop? in between? and are they in danger of being dropped? or will they most likely make at least one more album?
